If I have braces and floss once a daya t night after eating and I brush my teeth extra well esp at the gum line and I brush between the bracketds with a proxabrush nad toothpaste on it and rinse with a flouride rince every ngiht before bed will I be ok at preventing this?
Thanks for the info. I have neglected going to the dentist for scaling. And and my previous visit (after 3 in a row for wisdom teeth), I had to point out to him that i have noticed gaps between my teeth that was not there before. And he said "oh, you have periodontitis". Ghee, thanks for noticing doc, glad I brought it up!
if only there's a cheaper way..i went to the dentist and they told me that it would cost 1800 dollars..i would like to about the alternative ways to at least keep periodontal disease at bay..my dentist has been doing the scaling and that works but i feel that there are other methods of treatment that they don't know or haven't explored..thanks for any information that can be shed on this.
There is a dentist also promoting that perioprotect product and in her Youtube video she says something about "grows bone back/we'll see the bone grow back"...a person has said in response to that that this is nonsense/ask any dentist...Is this person correct in accusing the dentist of saying something that they should know isn't true?
my dr wants to remove my tooth. It is just draining constantly and not healing. second round of antibiotics... why hasn't she put antibiotics directly in like this?!?!
I just had half of my mouth done and after she got it all off what they told me was what your mommy and daddy tell you but you never listen brush after each meal and rinse with salt water but they gave me a perscription mouth wash that i use first brushing in the morning and last at night cost me about 200 with insurance + more work its not worth it quit being lazy and go brush ur nasty teeth....or pay up and get used to novacaine 11 shots it took to numb me up enough to do the cleaning
Momelias: you can definitely rinse your mouth with different things, but that will only kill the bacteria that is floating around and accessible. The beauty of these trays is that they hold the medication that your doctor prescribes right where it needs to be - - - down in the sulcus (the area between your gums and teeth). One "side effect" I've noticed from using these trays is that your teeth get whiter and your breath gets fresher.
OralMax Gum Disease Treatment can help you with bleeding gums, inflammation, sensitivity and dental mobility.
Can help stop bone loss and reduce the dental mobility from grade 2 to grade 0 (Miller's Classification).
All this thanks to the tannin acids (astringent) naturally obtained from different quercus species evaluated and recognized as an effective substance against bleeding gums, inflammation and dental mobility in diabetic and non-diabetic patients.
Well as we speak, I am in much pain and discomfort with swollen gums after having a cleaning 4 days ago, with no success, they tell me just to keep coming on regular basis, but i know that this infection is reaching other parts of my body, I can't stand it anymore and am calling my friends to have them set me up[ o have my bottoms pulled and have plates, don't want to do it but....
i can relate- my gums are sore and are so bad that i can't sleep at night- i am actually fearful about the dentist- i shouldn't be a puss about it but had a few dentist who kind of steered me away.
does this stuff help with heavy tartar/calculus, because I have heavy calculus on the front of my 4 bottom front teeth, I can push my tongue against them, and they shift under my gumbs a little bit
