@Alianger I seriously need to check out the Mega Drive version myself sometime, like I absolute love this tune, love it to bits but I need to determine how I'd feel about it if I grew up with the Mega Drive version.
@Otouto72 I guess most will prefer the first version they heard, even more so with a track from a game you've grown up with. I think I'm leaning towards the PCE version myself, not sure, but I first played Truxton just a few years ago. Anyway, the MD version of this track is just a click away to the right :)

The Genesis version sounded a bit garbled (Well... Truxton was among the Genesis launch titles, after all), but had a lot more drive. In comparison, the arcade version is a downright sleeping pill.
@Otouto72 thanks for the video. i never owned a sega but i played one at my friends house circa 1995-96. there were a couple of games that we can never get passed the 2nd lev (dont remember the name of the game but the 2nd boss is an eyeball monster)

I was expecting this to sound much better than the MD version, but it's actually pretty subdued and disappointing.

Great tune! Interestingly, the Turbografx version really took this up a notch with a much more upbeat funky version!

I've never actually played the Genesis version myself but I love this on MAME. I can't get past the second level on that either.
