I think when the boss's hp is shown, it takes away from the fun when fighting the boss. I think so because knowing that you are one step from destroying the boss ruins the suspense and sense of challenge from the game.

@TheSilverknight96 he has 99. in the first part of the fight u can fight but cant kill him. after the peach vs kammy fight u get to continue with the same amount of hp he lost. and the reason its so much higher is 99 is the highest possible hp in this game

If your like me then you know how hard it is to beat this game even on your best day bowser is no push over but I did it for all I know it may have been my worst day but it the end I beat it that all that realy matters.

I've never played this, but it looks good from what I've seen, and I've beaten paper mario the thousand year door. Im thinking about buying this soon either for my 64, or if I get a wii for christams, then on the virtual console.
i just replayed this on my 64 like 3 days ago and and i bat him so easy this time. before i battled him with i was like 8 so it was hard, but now i'm all -_- that was it?
zomg beating him on 64 was so hard! but i did it after like my 20th try lol...it suks at the end you cant play more it just shows mario and peach watching fire works and it stays like that...u have to turn off ur 64 and no fare u cant go back into town and finish up stuffs..
this game looks so unbelievably not fun. constantly having to pull up your inventory screen and look up what attack you're gonna do every time is asinine.

Bowser has in this game 83 hp.
In paper mario TTYD he has 120 hp and he isn't the end boss.
It's a big difference when you now that the shadow queen 200 hp has. ;D

sushi is a good partner for this because bowser is weak agaisnt water. Also, if you block that one yellow wave attack, your partner won't be hurt.
