JESUS what a great scene. Deals with the current relationship but more importantly the history behind it. So well written. Agree with the comments, the writing pales compared to this. Somehow Erika manages to rise to any occassion (even the stupid waitress thing) but poor Robin is not served well when they make her a cartoon. THIS is when she had real claws and was to be avoided (but the town, not the viewers!)
@SoapsGoldenAge Erika loved the story where they made her a waitress and she fell in love with Charlie. Is that the one you are referring too? I think she was a waitress at another point as well, but I can't remember.
Funny 2 see how Dorian's sunny disposition changed very quickly. Also funny 2 hear Victoria say Victor was a "good man" and for Dorian 2 agree lol dat would neva be said now and days.
@GloveGirl LOL...longtime stranger. My aunt whos gone now liked the soap, and I was born in '82, and developed crush on the woman wearing red in this clip...
Robin Strasser was perfect in this scene....powerhouse acting....she felt so "dug in" at LLanfair, she couldn't even think of letting it go....LOVE Robin in this scene....wish there was more of this type acting on OLTL today....then maybe it wouldn't get canceled.
But originally Dorian withheld Victor's medicine around the time Victor and Tony made inroads so Victor would have left everything to Tony...that's why everyone thought she killed the old perv.
When Victor turned up alive ...that would mean that Dorian was still his widow - and when Viki went to the Judge to uphold the original will to keep Mitch Lawrence from inheriting it all , it would have been a interesting twist if Dorian threw Viki out because Dorians marriages to Mel and Herb were now invalid- meaning Llanfair belong to her because she had not remairried.... but of course the writers are busy changing history intead of drawing on the already rich history that already exist
That would've been great, but I do really wish they had let the two .live there together. But, if you ask me, the 2003 rewrite was terrible.. I always thought that only the situation you described could've redeemed it in anyway at all.
I think that if Dorian found a letter from Victor that said she could live at llanfair as ong as she liked, and insisted on moving in, that'd be great. Seeing thos two live together.....
@VickRobCal Sad that Robin Strasser has left the show. I would have liked to have seen her and Vicki have the final scene in the final ep. in Jan. 2012.
What did I think when I found out Viki killed her own father...Wow! Well for years I was amazed and shocked. And yet I thought the bastard deserved to croke but I felt like Viki would've been written into a corner coz I thought "Ok Dorian almost went to death row twice for this so how will they treat Viki, the core character of the show" But yet I never read that she was leaving so I just kept watching. Yeah I'd have to say that was one of soaps biggest shockers of all time...
and years later it pissed me off that they made another rewrite with the news that Mitch Laurence was holding Victor in an attic of one of his secret homes. the monster croked for real but they should've left it as it was. I guess it absolved Viki of any guilt she felt for killing him. I'm also glad that Todd and Viki did NOT have a tender tearful reunion with him.
The writing used to be so good!

Erika's acting skills have been terrific, throughout the ages.

What I absolutely hate is that Viki didn't try to compromise, which seems so unlike her.....

Yeah that was terrrible. Why can't soaps just leave things as they are...if it didn't happen onscreen, it should've never happened period.

love it

I wondering what kind of storyline would they be able to put together now in 2009 to get a good fued going between the two rivals.

This clip is WONDERFUL!! and it tells the story in a way that no other clip could.
So Vicki never actually lived with Dorian and Victor while they were married to each other!?!?

This was great! I felt sooo bad for BOTH of them. I want BOTH of them to live there, but oh well....
