That may be a quality turntable. Are you able to connect the turntable to your sound card?

It has USB, which the direct plug-in videos on my channel use. However, my laptop doesn't have Windows Movie Maker and Audacity recordings via USB are extremely distorted. SO...I really don't know what to do.

If you look at the Recording Control page in SNDVOL32.EXE you can adjust the volume for 'Wave'.
