This guy really makes me want to start my own cult, I mean it looks like it pays pretty well plus you get to give gala speeches, destroy anyone who leaves your cult and order people's executions. Oh yeah and you get to have slaves - how cool is that?
The "wake up call" or 9/11 was caused by religious extremists- a cult that believe the ends justify the means and that they are somehow superior to others.
His words are so empowering! No matter the kind of evils happening today, the power to have a positive impact on ones environment is in the hands of every individual! You have the power so what cha' goin' do wit it?!? Bravo DM!
Thank you for posting this video as it tells people about all the great things that Scientology has been doing. It really is amazing how much Scientology has done in different aspects of non-profit -- helping others get off from drug abuse, giving them precepts to achieve happiness in life, help in disasters such as 9/11 and Haiti. It inspires me to help others as well, and not to be bystander that merely mud slings at people who are out there and are actually doing something.
@BigNewsTime Thank you for helping the people of my city! This was crisis like no one who wasn't there, will ever understand. Some of these jokers just wanna be haters. We were there and we know what was up, not just that day but for months afterward. Anyone who received help will 4ever be grateful. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I've seen the various plaques and commendations the NYC Fire department bestowed upon the church. I'm proud to be a contributor to the Volunteer Ministers efforts!
The Volunteer Ministers were among the first charitable groups to lend their tireless and selfless services at ground zero and never got any kind of recognition…which is what its all about. Thanks for showing the world how much the Church cares to help even despite your crappy headline.
@theayec The Volunteer ministers probably believe they are doing good, and some probably are- however, the reality is- they are what $cientology calls "a PR caper"- just to provide good photographs to spin.
There are plenty of genuine hard-working charities that have worked and continue to work in war-torn countries, feeding the hungry, clothing the poor who are better qualified, better educated and more effective.
STOP THE HATE and TELL THE WHOLE STORY: Within minutes of the first attack, local Scientologists rushed to the scene to set up and staff disaster centers. In the months that followed, some 800 Scientologists from the US and around the world contributed thousands of volunteer hours at Ground Zero, distributing food and water, providing one-on-one counseling to rescue workers and working in the community to help New Yorkers cope with the devastation. THANK YOU VOLUNTEER MINISTERS.
It is a great thing that Scientology and people of different faiths got together, set aside their religious differences and remembered that we are all part of the same group - the human race. In the face of such a tragedy people sought comfort and help in each other, and that is a beautiful thing.

Needless to say, it met every definition or those words defining moment and never was the urgency of our mission so manifest.

The stage is atrocious and gaudy. Here's a thought, if you have to make up nonsensical words to define the bullshit you're making up.....MAYBE its all hogwash.
@montrealmountie Where you you during 9/11? Stuck to your TV? I was handing out food and drinks for 48hrs straight to exhausted rescue workers. Yeah we were at Ground Zero with thousands of other individuals helping out (there was no religious discrimiation, just people helping people people of all faiths). So yes we are proud of what we did and are doing and despite a few lice we will continue to help others.

How can a criminal cult, that demonstrably fails at just about everything, claim to be the answer to our problems?!
The world needs the CoS and Scientology like Hell needs a chocolate fire-guard.
