lol Green Day could never rival any real band as far as maintaining integrity. Just look at the mascara Billy wears and then see that the only difference Dexter made was losing the locks, Holland could at least pass off as coming from So-Cal.
Greenday isn't emo, they are pop-punk. Offspring has gone from punk, to a more pop-punk style, but I think they are vastly superior, and more consistent, then Greenday. I happen to like ALL their albums, though Ignition and Smash are my favorites. It's a matter of taste and opinion, and I think Offspring is still one of the best bands around.
