Geez its obvious you have never watched a wildlife programme in your life! They dont just attack people on trucks, first they are wary of humans and secondly they dont just see people they see the whole big moving truck and are wary of it!

what of course is so amazing about all of this clips of african plains. people in OPEN jeeps drive up within yards of often very hungry powerful predators to watch them hunt. why more folks are not attacked in these jeeps is beyond me. its almost beyond logic.

Thanks - we were very lucky - nature in the raw. There were 6 other big buffalo near by so he must have done something to upset them because they dis nothing to help! It took so long because the 2 lions were young and didn't know what to do.

When we arrived the lions had downed the buffalo (see other clips) but then it got up and fought back. One lion was hurt and moved out out the way - but the other one hamstrung the buffalo and eventually after an hour or so the buffalo gave up. I was filming using a digital camera and did not want to run out of memory for the rest of the trip - plus when you are there you need to see things for yourself rather than through a camera. Wild life programmes never shows how long it takes!!
