Ford lightning is still by far one of the fastest pickups to thisday even all of dodges srt8s srt10s srt4s have problems keeping up and as far as chevy goes the SS and the 8.1L cant keep up either.

An SVT ranger would be sick, but if you want you can check it out on youtube, a ranger with a crate 302 swapped into it smokes a Ram SRT10, mainly because it's so much lighter.

What are you talking about overdrive for? It doesn't matter, it downshifts to the lowest gear when you punch it. Cool ride, but you gotta run more boost and get there alot quicker. By the time you hit 80 my L would be close to 100.
