  • P.S., anybody who disliked this video is a real idiot.

  • @BaffledObserver: Actually, tbh, that kinda thinking has been around for a LONG, LONG, time...............only thing is, up until 70 years ago, it was almost exclusively race-based.

  • @55ella2007k: As I just said to CV1122: I don't really trust either party even close to 100%, but sadly, CERTAIN Democrats are our only hope right now{sad truth is, they're the only party that'll fix the economy}............however, I do sincerely hope that someday we WILL see a truly viable 3rd Party arise from all this, that will replace BOTH of today's major parties.

  • Thanks you Miss Ella for telling they way it needs to be told. Normally I am not religious, but anyone can read Romans 2:16

  • I think its just apathy on part of the majority of people, they don't care or even bother to keep up with current events that will directly effect them. I think we'll have to wait till things are taken away from us to motivate them.

I am curious why in the states with small populations why independants are more out there? I saw results in some states where only a few hundred thousand people voted this round, how do they not have a chance there?

  • @funeralsong34 American voter turn out had always been on the low end in comparison to other developed nations. This time, it was a mixture of the usual apathy coupled with disgust and anger. By the time the social safety is completely dismantled, the masses will either turn on each other (which is the goal of the financial elite), or they will start resisting in earnest, with little else to lose. That's when you will see repression in earnest, including the use of force + assassinations.

  • @55ella2007k - The movie Metropolis (1927) is a wishful movie, but corporations and like minded people only for very few people. Howard Zinn was right all along and he was a US Army World War Two combat veteran. President Obama is appeasing and may have forgotten what compromise is. The Republicans and most Democrats care about money over their constituents. I tried being a Social Activist and many refused to help me even though I gave self-diclosure information and practiced transparency.

  • I have to respectfully disagree about rallies like Jon Stewart's - it did (and others would) make a difference. Seeing the National Mall full of people who would agree with you OR at least be able to hear you without yelling in response, was inspirational and calming and we need more rational inspiration.

  • You are so right. We must vote. I voted. Didn't get everything I wanted. But I will vote next time and every time. Thank you for staying on and engaged, Ella!!!

  • ..so..we (I) need to listen to your thoughts about the voting results:)..please:)).

  • @moonsalam I will make a video shortly. Please bear with me...it all played out as expected at my end. I have some personal situations to deal with at this point...I'm trying to keep tenants from becoming homeless. This is my biggest concern, for the next few weeks. I will be back with my vids soon... I have to work on the local level now, because this all we have left. It's always an uphill battle...to bring people together, despite their own interests and sense of despair....

  • "One shall be know by one's causes"

    ~~carefulcarpenter

By default, most people support feudalism.

  • Sorry-- "known by ....."

  • In some offices there were not even democrats running here. For those I wrote in my own name ! You could vote a straight party ticket. D, R, Green and Libertarian. No Greens in any office. So if you vote Green is that a total throw away ?

  • yeah, it is called me-first syndrome. the american situation is becoming out of the frying pan into the fire. americans should rise up to save themselves.

  • Well, I just calculated it..27 million, or 8.7% of Americans, about 1 out of every 11 are on SSRIs. These drugs don't make people happy like pot, or MDA, they make people numb. In addition to the folks they make psychotically violent, diabetic, have premature infants, strokes, etc., my impression is that they make the average, "normal" user far less compassionate. and more selfish. Could 27 million semi-zombies explain the success of FOX News?

Listening to Prozac came out in 1993..

  • Yes, global massive corruption. And we should work to deprive them of acquiring more tools to oppress us more effectively, even if we can't make significant good changes.

So many people have not figured out yet that it is all about divide and conquer, and that the real elite equally influences both parties; the media are too busy calling that "tin foil hat" stuff. But you are right, on a local level, different candidates make a huge difference.

  • Okay you convinced me to vote. Wasn't going to anymore.

  • @Mr1openmind I understand the frustration, because it is my own. But not voting at all, unless there is an organized movement behind it, as in " we withhold our vote" and this is why, then boycotts do not work. The people in Argentina did this, they went through the entire process of voting and cast 'blank' ballots, coupled with massive protests. But this situation is not happening here. Thanks for trying your best....

  • i am going to hobble up to the voting booth tomorrow and vote for local (my dad is running for city council :) as for the house rep, both the dem and the repub are both fascist fucks so I'm going to 'waste' my vote on the independent. I am fed up like you Ella. didn't mind the swearing at all one bit. you're right, it has to be done starting in our own backyards.

  • @cv1122 thanks CV. Apathy is death, as far as I'm concerned.

  • @cv1122: Yeah, both parties are terribly corrupt, but you know something? There aren't any viable third parties, either; the Libertarian and Tea Party movements have been completely infiltrated, the Green Party are too timid to get anything done, and all the parties who haven't compromised are way too small to make any difference in national elections, so right now.........I kinda hate to say, but the Democrats are the only truly legit choice we have right now.

  • @BaffledObserver I have much to say about the 'invisible hand' , including the entire philosophy behind it. the 'Wealth of Nations' - which is a utopian fantasy of the elites, completely disconnected from the reality at hand. On YouTube, this would probably get 25 views or so. Videos of cats and cute little animals will get far more views, I can assure you. At least this is somewhat compassionate. The human species is curious, because it has evolved ,but also largely self-destructive

  • Outstanding...TYVM..

  • I been Tellin our people that is tired of the Bullshit that the tea party is being funded NOW by the koch brothers (browny paper towels ,kato institute , anti Ron Paul ) who use rednecks to do they dirty work for them they want to maintain the federal reserve which are robbing Us but anyway You Are Awesome and You are On Your Game You Make More sense than anybody I heard talking about this Global Fascism on youtube i agree with you 99.9% Good luck in your community and Keep God First

  • Don't vote, it only encourages them. Don't legitimize the system. Imagine the effect of a 10% voter turn-out. Escape the system.

  • @waldentree The only way this would work is if there were an actual movement en masse to articulate this. The elites DO NOT CARE one iota whether only 10% of people vote. They will simply do what they want, period. Now, if you couple the refusal to vote with at least 45% of the population on the streets, for weeks on end, demanding the resignation of the entire govt, then this would be a different story. This is NOT going to happen here, unless the economy collapses completely, which it may.

  • there is only ONE senator that is against global corporate fascism, and his name is BERNIE SANDERS.

  • much as people don't want to hear it. we need to abolish free trade and implement protectionist policies. we need to get off the freedom for the multinationals kick.

  • @LouieArrighi I plan to make a series of videos addressing this very issue, a critiques of laizze-affaire capitalism and libertarian economic philosophy in general. I'm working on it. This said, I am NOT opposed to market economies in principle + neither would I advocate a centralized state economy (like the former USSR). I am for checks + balances + a regulated market economy which works both for individuals + the common good.

  • @55ella2007k I am for a regulated market with anti-trust measures in place enforcing protectionist trade policies, while also abolishing NAFTA. pretty much pre-1980's in the US and post-The Grapes of Wrath when FDR came to office.

  • Hard words She said. selfishness, think for your self, me,me,me.

  • As for voting tomorrow, I'm going to. I have a few good people to vote for. Sometimes I do things that no one ever knows about, counts or makes a difference to anyone but me. Being a responsible American Citizen is one of them. I sit through red lights at 5 am when there isn't a car, other than me on the road. And I vote.

  • @Boomer1949 Well...it all depends on social conditioning in a way. At 5:00 AM with absolutely no cars around, I would probably proceed cautiously through the intersection, knowing that if I get caught, I have broken the law. A law, which of course, was indented for my own safety + those of others, once another car appears :) I have never NOT voted at all. I may withhold my vote, if I do not know about the issue or candidate involved, because an uninformed vote is worse than none at all.

  • continued: and even if my vote no longer counts, what do I have to lose by voting anyway? Nothing, except the status quo or worse. I do realize, however, that just because 'elections' are still happening, they can be a total sham, once it reaches a certain point. We are almost there...but not quite yet. I have very little hope...to tell you the truth. All peaceful options must be exhausted...before the next bloodbath.

  • Ella, we are all caught in the corporate trap. As individuals with all sorts of things "financed", to the politician who doesn't have the big money to campaign against big money interest. As individuals we can change things but it does start with ones self. Breaking free from the chains that bind us, begins with breaking our "on credit" way of life. Consider the consequences to big corp if a huge majority just paid cash.

  • God this is like the nazi's in the 1930's.

  • LocaLocaLocaLocalism

  • Well when people here in UK sat on their ass and not voted the torriys won with the help of the lib and now we are screwed with so many job cuts

  • @theracemixer Exactly. In other words, you've got Thatcherism on steroids now. As Michael Hudson pointed out years ago, this is the deliberate destruction of the working and middle classes in Western societies, combined with the on-going colonialism, which promises everybody better living standards, on a temporary basis, only to take advantage of the poor , so than when they get a little uplift, it's unto the next country, with the same promises. I.E. the lowest common denominator: slavery.

  • ..you have my human vote..and my ears hears you..so does allot others..life in general have no views counter:).

  • Welcome to camp Fear , that is all i see in this country Ella.

We still have the right to be mad as hell here and it is time to use it.

As far as voting this year i just want new people in there and i got that part done in delaware :op I don't care who wins now

Vote for Fear to rule who ever wins , because there is still a profit to be made.

Love and Peace to you Ella =)

It is time for us to take that stand for what is right .

  • Why should I vote? In my county my choice is elite candidate A or elite candidate B. Not a single third party candidate made the ballot. I may vote straight Libertarian for no one. Tea party is a sad joke. Taken over long ago. The media is our enemy. Once you reject the media you start to see the truth.

  • Slavery has never been completely over! Now, economic slavery is the new thing!!

  • The other thing is, and the media nor the politicians want to talk about, the gang population will only increase and it will at an EXPONENTIAL rate if we don't change our domestic policies as well as our foreign!! True capitalism no longer exist because they don't want you to be able to compete, EVER!! That's why they want to cut education and continue outsourcing jobs and the only jobs that will be available will only be government! They will build more prisons, etc, etc.

  • @nutblast23 Good, points... but I disagree, because prisons are being privatized as we speak. Talk about cheap slave labor, heh? Big government is not the problem, my friend, it is private corporate interests which have bought off the government. Private corporations have only one legal responsibility: to maximize profits for their shareholders. And surely, you know by now, that the population at large are NOT the major shareholders. Thus it is not govt per se, but corps who control it.

  • I love your passion and fire!! It is all about "Divide and conquer" and too many assholes are buying into it!!

  • You would make a great revolutionary!! Actually you are but in a civilized sense!! You're awesome!!

  • @nutblast23 Not really. You give me too much credit, my friend. While I don't cave in easily, but it would be another matter, if the powers that be, came after my friends + family. That's a whole other issue...one I hope, you will never experience...because it is extremely frightening. It destroys the soul , so to speak. There is no way to hold unto the larger principles of justice + equality for all, once you are subjected to tyranny of torture, seeing your children being raped etc.

  • continued: I'm not sure, how I would resist, in this type of situation, except to undermine the entire project in some way, in the long run. I admire the madres, the mothers of those disappeared and tortured to death, for speaking out. But it's not enough to prevent the same thing from happening again.

  • @55ella2007k When did some of these disappearances of mothers who were raped, tortured, and killed occur? What time historically? Please let me know and give me some examples.

  • @55ella2007k Of course then it becomes survival of the fittest and anything goes in that situation! When I say you're a revolutionary type I don't mean like the original black panthers, I just mean in the sense that you believe in real "change" and not Obama's "pocket change." I guess it's time for a "secret society type revolution" where change has to come like waterdrops on a boulder. It may take time but eventually the water will win.

  • @55ella2007k The privatizing of prisons has a lot to do with the Arizona immigration law from what I understand. This whole situation is downright hideous and the world is watching.

  • I don't think we are likely to see fascism here, rather, you will have a neo-feudal arrangement. You'll have pockets of neofascist rule and pockets of relatively benign rule depending on the particular needs of the local oligarchs--as long as they have fealty to the big oligarchs that run the world. The movement is away from the nation-state and towards the Imperial "new world order" on the one side and a kind of decentralized set of vassals on the other.

  • Spot on as usual Ella. I had almost this same conversation with my brother earlier tonight. It's time to start looking out for one another and ignore the divide and conquer strategy. The corporations have influenced the politicians and have most of them already paid for no matter what side they represent. Vote for who represents you and your views... plain and simple. My time for shutting up has long since passed. Sooner or later, the madness has to end. Peace!

  • Happy Samhaim Ella - too bad more persons refuse to see your truths. They are are not unique, though your delivery remains vital - anyone with the ability to hit the power on their TV can also power it off. They can read books, newspapers & pamphlets. People are social, what are they socializing about? Does learning end after graduation?

I took the trouble of previewing my ballot for Tuesday & i looked into the candidates that i didn't already know about, then i made a crib sheet for voting.

  • think you need dig deeper ella. The masses are enslaved by materialism which is collapsing under its own greed. Elite have gone beserk thinking new ways to enslave the masses but they havn't any carrots left entice us so use fear instead. The old system is collapsing like a house of cards, all is good.

  • The only reason why i would agree this time is that i feel the establishment wants to use the Republicans to go to war with Iran and that would probably kill a whole lot of people and destroy their country. Other than that I'd say you're voting for the establishment either way.

  • I just realised Ella, that they are going to introduce a statute that makes it OBLIGATORY to vote, and if you don´t you are going to have to pay in one way or another.

  • I have to agree with you Ella. THE party will win....and that is it.....rigged is a gross understatement....."progressive democrats" is it´s self an oxymoron Ella. There is no "peaceful solution" here.

  • @shazzbot007 I was around 60's-70's and no it wasn't this bad. The last time it was this bad was the frigging Civil War.

Even Jimmy Carter said in his time in Office there wasn't anything like this Political division going on now.

Economicaly speaking this is going to be even worse then the Great Depression.

How do I know? Peak Oil.

In the Depression, food & Oil/Gas/Disel was plentifull and cheap. It's not going to be like that this time around. Energy is intrinsicaly tied to Capitalism.

  • The rallies have been nothing but white noise to the establishment. I feel for your idealism ... I wish it were so easy.

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. ... God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion; what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms." -- Thomas Jefferson

  • Wow you share my sentiments exactly. I think that the Republican's are a bunch of satanists I mean if you really compare their ideology its very similar. Satanist believe in social Darwinism and they think their god. I mean thats republicans in a nut shell. I wasn't going to vote this year cause I'm really upset with everything but i did anyways for the same reasons you just said lol.

  • @shazzbot007 same here...

  • @55ella2007k I second that thought too! hear, hear!

  • @55ella2007k same too!

  • I have no one to vote for, I guess it will be the third party if any are on the ballots.

The way the economy is, all you see is why it is the other guys fault that things are so bad. None seem to want to take a stand on what really is going on, why should they? Most haven't a clue what is going on. Ditto on the grass roots grab

It would seem there are no practical solutions to our dilemma

  • @CTOL1 I agree, just posted a very similar comment on another video, lol. Cleaning house through the ballot box is just not going to work, sorry democracy - you're broke in more way then one.

  • I have researched my candidates and one legislative position both candidates are terrible so I will be writing in NO CONFIDENCE, I wish others would do the same.

The tea party was hijacked a long time ago.

The lessor of two evils is evil, if nobodys good, vote NO CONFIDENCE in write in. Some people don't even know they can write in NO CONFIDENCE.

You can't vote Rep or Dem and expect things to change, isn't that overly apparent yet?

I'm Republican and none of my votes will go to Republicans.

  • @700eyesonly007: I kinda agree, but we may have no real choice but to vote for the lesser of the two 'evils'{i.e. the Democratic Party, because only certain Democrats can actually fix the economy.}, until a viable 3rd Party does gain power.

  • I'm wondering what is going to happen when the Tea Party wins, yet the economy continues to decline. Do they really think cutting taxes for the richest is going to turn the economy around? If that was the case then 5% of the richest controll 90% of the wealth would have already turned the economy around.

RightWing will bring on even more severe Austerity, great Teachers, Police fired, Cuts in Healthcare, Unemployment et al. This wil truly be a be Rich or Die society, where the poor = deitris.

  • I was very happy to see that the Stewart/Colbert rally was even more successfull with even bigger crowd then Glenn Becks Rally. That told me that the Progessives are not the Minority I was thinking we were because the Right is so vocal and just appears to be the Majority.

If Glenn Beck & Limbaugh didn't bamboozle the working man I am convinced the Right Wing would be a wimpering minority.

Stewart/Colbert are also a lot funnier then these dim witted morons on the right. Sorry I can't help it.

  • Comment removed

  • @jsmythib My guess is they will replace the corrupt incompetant incumbent's already in office with the likes of Christine Odonell and that crazy bitch in Nevada Sharon Angle.

It will truly be the inmates running the Asylum.

  • @valhala56 I hope the nuts figure something out- I fear some things cannot be undone.

  • @jsmythib IMHO the only thing that will save Western Civilization is an all out Alternative energy program.

The US has nothing to export to the world except War.

If we came up with new Alternative energy products, ie revolutionary, for instance Home fuel cells that could power a house for a year...Technology & products that could be exported to the world then that might revive a sick economy.

Otherwise it is a slow spiral downwards into Global Depression.

Sorry for being a downer, dude.

  • @valhala56 I don't see your post as a downer; actually, I think it offers a source of hope - IF we follow the course you suggest (which may not be probable, but at least isn't impossible). Nothing is ever inevitable, and there's always another way.

  • @valhala56: I agree...........and eventually we DO need to replace both parties, I think.

  • Happy Halloween Ella.

  • @valhala56 Thanks, val :)
