I like flying on planes but then I don't. The reasons being are that I hate going through security, handing in baggage and waiting for your plane to arrive. But I love the actual flying of the plane. It feels kinda like a thrill ride to me. And I always wanted to fly ever since I was a little kid and I still like it :3

To answer the gents question about planes and how they are scary, to be honest they say you have a better chance of getting into a car accident on the way to the airport then you have getting into a plane crash... Also I can relate to you because I am also 12 yrs. old and the 1st time I went on a plane I was scared but dont be worried! You will be just fine! Have fun and happy flying,

Why does everyone call the Pre-Board Screening Officers, "Customs"? Customs is, and are, the officers that check your passport and decide if you can enter their country once you ARRIVE at your destination and GET OFF the plane. At the END of your ride. The people that check your boarding pass, look trough your bags, and make you go trough a metal detector are minimum wage rent-a-cop pre-board screening officers. Not government employed $60,000/year customs agents.

It is a miracle and privilege that we have this incredible form of transportation to get us anywhere in the world that we want, or need to go. Watch the video, lots- and know that my grandson eventually DID get to go on a plane, and he loved it.

@rachiemaree123 I know its a little to late, but for future references you can always talk to a doctor to get something to relax u (i.e. Valium) Or you can talk to a friend. A doctors appointment would cost $100s here for a couple pills or a visit to a friends house would be about $20's 4 gas, if that. Math never lies; helps to make choices easier. Just BE SURE TO TAKE IT BEFORE YOU GO THROUGH THE TSA CHECK POINTS. Or you may find yourself in BIG trouble!!

It is an interesting learning opportunity, about others, yourself, physics, and a privilege that we have this type of transportation available to us, is all incredible! tips: enjoy it, feel it,even if its anxiety, feel the marshmallow clouds and talk to the angels!

@jaybee2425460 Sorry to burst your bubble, but Charles de Gaulle airport is possibly one of the worst airports ive ever been to in my life... and I've been to a lot of airports. It's overcrowded, understaffed, dark, small, old, and the people are unfriendly.

but Paris is an amazing city, truly lives up to the hype! You'll enjoy the city a lot after you get out of the airport ;)
