  • OMG!!!!! I WANNA BUY IT!!!!

  • i want this instruments in logic too !

  • How about some Logic Pro lessons? I need them, big time! lol

    That was awesome!

  • @rollandflick2 I've seen others doing Logic Pro tutorials on YouTube and don't think I'd be able to input much more than has already been said. Thanks for listening!

  • I wish I could see more amazing music like this being created in FL Studio

  • DUDE!!! WHY ARE YOU NOT IN HOLLYWOOD YET??!!

  • @PatrickProduction hahaaa - No serious invitations as of yet! ;-)

  • you should make it any longer

    it would be epic!

  • @revengeofbutthead Maybe one day I'll get round to extending it. ;-)

  • is this available for download somewhere?

  • @hoopsnyoyo15 It's on my website - It's called: "Raise The Flag" on the Music Showreel page.

  • A W E S O M E !!!!

  • @SasanMusicTV T H A N K Y O U !!!!

  • this is fucking gorgeous!

  • @pascalbrax Thank you! ;-)

  • kudos buddy, I've been using Logic Studio for 2 years now and I still can't get that sort of sound from the stock orchestral samples, what kind of sample libraries did you use?

  • this is great...i cant wait to get a mac now

  • @AlecKassMusic It took me a day or two of intense composing, programming and editing. It was a last minute job with a short deadline. Thanks for your comment. ;-)

  • Epic man! Well done!

  • @DellDude Thank you! ;-)

  • what did you use to make the choir sound so good, you make my stuff look childish :(

  • @whuppdydu I just added a little EQ, reverb and compression i think. Thanks for your question.

  • This is fantastic Jon... If you don't mind me asking.. what libraries did you use?

  • @DrumminFoo92 Thanks for your comment; glad you like it. I mainly used VSL and Project Sam libraries for this. A few other bits and bobs too!

  • This is absolutely amazing Jon!! I love music where the composer has put a lot of love and thought into their work, it comes out in the music and is simply breathtaking. May you go far!

Just one question, do you use the standard string sounds that logic provide or have you downloaded others? I'm trying this myself but am not convinced in the sounds I'm producing. Perhaps I just need to EQ or something..

    Thankyou!!

  • @ledzeprulz Thanks for your comment. I don't really use the Logic factory samples/sounds. Generally I use higher quality sample libraries. EQ and reverb go a long way too! ;-)

  • Fantastic !!!

I just bought a MacBookPro 2.2GHz i7... You have inspired me

  • @ArGyProductions Nice! Hope you're enjoying your new MacBook Pro. ;-)

  • If I play all those tracks in my macbook, the computer goes to burn!! What mac do you have? a MacPro?

Amazing sounds! You are a great composer!

  • @DuduKorg Yes, this was done on a Mac Pro. Thanks for your comment. ;-)

  • Holy cow dude, this is insane! Not many people can make artificial orchestra stuff sound that good!

  • @MasterDisasterStudio Thank you, I'm glad you like it. ;-)

  • Wow! That's super hard to compose! WOW! What settings did you use for the strings?

  • @nQuavers Thanks for your comment. I usually just pan them out a bit and add some reverb - the rest is down to mixing and automation.

  • @macklebee87 That's good to hear! Thanks for your comment. I mainly use VSL and Project Sam plus a few other samples I've collected over the years. :-)

  • that was mighty epic alright - good work!

  • @e5acf4 Thanks for listening and for your comment. ;-)

  • That was Eargasmic ... I think I just came

  • @ArGyProductions Ear you go mate; ear's a tissue! lol

  • Amazing Work!

  • @LordvorEdocsil Thanks for your comment! Glad you like it. :-)

  • Hi Jon! A very nice piece of music you got for us, although i was wondering if it's possible for you to make an extended version of this. The climax through the end is so beautiful like a "National Treasure" kind of beautiful that it was so not cool that it ended so quick ;)

Sidenote: i still can't believe why Remote Control Productions offered you a job already ;) You are definitely my inspiration among other great composers! A job well done my friend, well done!!

  • @Martijn635 Thanks for your comment. Maybe I will get round to extending this someday. Thanks for your kind words! Remote Control Productions; lol - maybe one day. :-)

  • WOW Very epic and uplifing piece you created! You can really feel a nation growing! Greetings,

    ~Schandak

  • @DJschandak Thanks, i'm delighted that you like it. :-)

  • Another great musical piece, great tension and suspense building up amongst the gliding melody.

    ....

Never thought about how much layers needed to give the exact sound of an orchestra, fabulous piece though! Hope you keep making breath taking pieces like this one!

  • @xXMoonClawXx Thank you for your comment... Glad you liked it! :-)

  • do you need any external stuff to use this?

  • @batatacreew Sorry, what do you mean? As in, hardware?

  • @JonBrooksComposer i mean...do you need any external recording/mixing devices to use this or is it just with your computer?

  • It's a brilliant piece with great subtle nuances!

  • @Miika153 Thank you!

  • That sounded great! love the buildup and the epic sound... the change up to the anthem seemed a little abrupt, but I'm guessing it probably makes more sense with the footage. great job... very cool

  • @tearsinraine Thanks for your comment. Glad you liked it. I've also uploaded the footage if you'd like to see that too.

  • very epic jon ... really nice!

  • That was absolutely amazing. One of the best i've heard. Well done.

  • Waoa! Amazing! What choir was used?

  • It's sounds like Van Helsing

  • congratulations on this, jon.

  • You're right... that was EPIC!!!!

  • Epic!! *_*

    Good job!! ;D
