Interesting way to launch a new feature! Sounds great, but it's not clear what the advantages of this service are over its main competition - Google Maps.

Our data is the main advantage, being the most up to date, accurate and nationally consistent. We are also the only mapping API to have boundary datasets. These datasets allow you to create mashups of information that are more area based, rather than just point markers on the map.

@OSMapping Are there plans to make detailed maps available in SVG format? That would offer the best interoperability for web services.
