Isn't the last boss fight the dark lich? with the song called "the oracle"?

If I recall, after that fight, you fight the mana beast or something. Lich can qualify as final boss too, but I like this theme more.

The final boss is the mana beast. You fight it directly after the lich.

The last boss is the Mana Beast. Dark Lich comes before that. :)

@kajhkdo actually the last fight was against the Mana Drake. After you defeated the Dark Lich there was nothing that could hold him back of attacking the Demon Fortress. Also after the dark lich fight you got Harzingers Mana Ying and Mana Yang skills to activate the Mana Sword.... good old days *remember*

I could never take down the Mana Beast, it was like, I fought my way through this awesome game, only to stand on a little platform, have awesome music play and have The Beast just bend me over and have it's way. It's okay though, I just bought a copy on Amazon, got my SNES all warmed up, it's gonna happen! =)

Eh, tactics for that is quite easy, use that light elemental to give buff on hero then cast shield on all members. With the buff, hero hits quite a lot damage when Mana Beast comes close. After that just wait until shield collapse, cast buff on hero again and shield up. Make sure the shield collapse before casting the buff though, if it's still on, the buff reflects on Mana Beast and it will one shot the whole party.
