I'm against the death penalty for it poses an easy way out for the convicted. When the death penalty is warranted it represents the most hanious of crimes. I'd much rather have them sit, locked in a maximum security facility, and for the rest of their live's continue only as "exsisting" tormented by what they have done.....

actually, old England had a good handle on the proper way to dispose of refuse like this guy. They called it "hung, drawn and quartered".
