How do you afford all those libraries? Or did you strat from scratch when you got enough income? How? My cities start off as slums that are worse than Detroit but slowly improve over time.

This city beats the "Metropolis" city that comes with the game. The Metropolis isn't a good city though. So comparing this city to Metropolis is like comparing Chuck Norris to a hobo.

I haven't played Sim City in years (except for SC original on C64/DOS on the SNES version) but in SC3k, couldn't you design/use your own buildings? I specifically remember you could. I always thought that was cool a feature that was unexplainable lacking in SC4k.

I play this game from time to time and I use that cheat where you can place individual buildings etc where you want them, so you can literally create your city from scratch. If only they would make another sim city game where they have that option and refine it, so that you could rotate the buildings to the right angle. ANyone else agree and know what I'm on about?

Awesome, im just wondering, how many powerplants did it take you to power this city and which did you use, im guessing you might have gone with a solar power plant to keep polution down and population down, im going to try to build something like this, i just found my disk yesterday and its badly scratched but still works :)

Well... if I used cheats, I'd probably make something like this too. Try that without cheats... Pretty fkn difficult lol. Spent like 4 hours last night playing this game and it was hectic! no cheats no nothing. Got my population up to 100k. I feel like im 12 haha! But that game really does take creativity

And the challenge isn't so to create the most beautiful city... challenge in SC3000 is to create the biggest population city and have greatest values on lands, least amount of pollution, no traffic, higuest aura, etc. that guy isn't just a pro... he's the best.

When i think of my home town, where they forgot to put a kindergarden in the all new quarter and totally fucked up the proportions between built space and airspace in between, making it a total low income slum, i would be delighted to have someone with similar deication and passion working in our urbanistics department in city hall...
