  • Great video!

  • hey zordan can i use it for my coming tomb raider movie? as intro?

  • Thank god you are awesome! You did not put the moon so close to the earth! Most people think that this is the earth -> Oo and thats the moon next to it but it is really more like what you had. Maybe further but no closer :D Good work!

  • @Baboonaiih I accidently looked on the like/dislike buttons next to your comment and I'm unsure what was marked. Sorry about that!

  • Where is 480p ?

  • Very shaky. anyone else notice the shake?

  • @ilobdell shhhhh please the grownups are watching.

  • @fairo No something about the 720p version makes the video incredibly shaky. It's a wonderful video! I'd just love to see it in HD without the shake.

  • @ilobdell Probably didn't have anywhere to put his tripod. Nice for hand held work. :)

  • AWESOME

  • As any of the signs of God is the creation of the earth, a controlled

  • Very nice. Just, your atmosphere needs a bit of work, it appears too bright near the surface, then the actual atmosphere is very faint. I remember seeing the same sort of problem with I did my layering incorrectly, It seems that you selected each texture to be a layer instead of actually using the physical layers. Did you write in the area where it says 'Mat:' under render layers, instead you want to move each sphere to a new layer, then go to each rendered lay and select layers accordingly.

  • Its a bit vague, but i hope it makes some sense.

  • god thats amazing!

  • It looks really nice but the atmosphere doesn't seem to blend out properly at close altitudes, maybe you might want to try adjusting the heights of atmosphere and falloff, other then that the clouds shadows look cool.

  • That is certainly the best ones I've seen. Well done.

  • your not getting enoght credit for this, its amazing the detaid is incredible you should make a tutorial yours is by far the best earth animation on youtube:)

  • man, i think this is the best Atmosphere i had seem on youtube, is just beautiful! thanks for sharing.

and please, where did you found so detailed textures?

  • @paulo15032001

As Klaeresource said, its Nasa's Blue Marble maps. Just make a google image search for 'nasa blue marble' and you'll see.

  • @zordan07 he was talking about the glow.

How did you manage to get that awesome lens flare outta Blender?

  • IN FLAMES!!

  • NASA's Blue Marble texture maps, perhaps? I like the atmospheric halo when the Earth is back-lit. Come up with a Belt of Venus as seen from orbit, and I'll be very impressed. I've been trying to do that in 3D for a long time. (The only render I've seen with that effect is FlamingPear's LunarCell plugin.)

  • @Klaeresource doesn't seem like it would be too hard. all you would do is make a circle, extrude it (but don't move up or down the extruded portion) and delete the interior, extrude it again but this time on the Z axis, then apply a texture of the rings. That would do fine for a simple solution.

  • did you use google earth for texturing?

or how did you texture it?

  • I like it so much!! 5/5

  • Beautiful.. Just beautiful

  • This looks amazing. Great job =D

Wish I had a better connection so HD wouldn't take so long.

  • Very nice *****

  • Just amazing! I tried to do something similar to this but I couldnt get the atmosphere right... And that sun! It looks so good!!!!

  • Wow!! This is fantastic!!!
