they shouldve added this as an extra to RE4 like after you beat the game. Couldve been like a mini game like assignment ada or something. It didn't even have to have a story that connected they just couldve had a disclaimer before you played it saying "canceled version of RE4" or something along those lines because this looks really cool

No offence to RE4 as I have the GC verson love it to bits and RE4 PS2 which had alot of extras and love it just as much

But from what I can tell you do not get extra stuff or it is any different from the ps2 game to the wii game

Does anyone know what console this was to be developed for? The button prompts look like the buttons for Gamecube, but I'm pretty sure that the Gamecube couldn't handle graphics like these. You can definitely see a downgrade in graphics when you compare this to the final version.

This type of gameplay is what I'd like to see Capcom try out again should there be a Resident Evil 6. Maybe retain the shooting style from 4/5, but add the elements of exploration, puzzle solving, like the old ones. Though I like the mechanics of RE4 and 5, Resident Evil in has lost it's charm in the process of their REvamp. For me, at least.

How isn't RE4 a horror game? It is still Survival & Horror. If a Dr. Salvador is about to cut your head off, you have no herb, their is a lot of tension, that is part of the horror that the originals had. All of the things that pop out as well as the atmospere of the game add into the horror section.:)

the regular resident evil 4 looks a lot better than this, but the game still looks fun. im glad they took away the shitty preset camera for the final model and the regular enemies (the ghosts) look like they take forever to kill. it took leon here almost all his life and like 2 clips of ammo
