@BirdiewasHere he's not a vampire but he was born when dracula was killed giving him one of dracula's powers specifically the Power of Dominance over Souls so when he kills enemies he can take their soul and use it to use the enemy's abilities
can anyone tell me the name of the game or whatever it may be that tells about the fight in 1999 with dracula? I feel it's the only piece of the story that I'm missing
@cubex55 I've seen it but it seems like that game is the continuation of this one. I'm referring to a game before this that shows when dracula gets defeated and his castle gets trapped inside the eclipse
@ThePaulvera Konami has never made a Castlevania game that took place in 1999. It's only referenced in the 2 Sorrow games and mentioned very briefly in Portrait of Ruin.
@Eruoso luck manipulation it looks like, basicly opens a debugger window outside the emulator and uses skills/waits in game to manipulate the RNG to make sure he gets the souls. Worked in all the mobile castlevania games but only works from emulator, so it's basicly TAS
@ThePaulvera there is no game for the battle in 1999, it's referenced but Konami never made it, Dawn of Sorrow is a sequil to Aria
You call THIS hard mode? You're slaughtering everyone and earning souls like crazy. I've never played this game, but in Dawn of Sorrow, finding souls is long and difficult.
Good god, he's got more luck with souls than I did even WITH the Soul Eater Ring. I need to try that RNG trick from now on...wonder if it works the same way in Dawn of Sorrow...
I can't believe how fast you manage to get the souls, either you are very lucky or hard mode has a higher drop rate or something, I swear I had to kill over 50 zombies to even get my first soul and it was the same for all of the enemies
ah well, if you go do Dawn of Sorrow, just play and finish it on normal mode with everything 100%. It doesn't have to be on hard mode, only if you can or want :)
I actually decided to try to get 100% souls for DoS. Some of the 3-star souls are going to be a pain to get. =_= Since I need a certain soul (Skeleton Ape) to even get 100% map, I might as well try to get 100% souls.
ok a couple of questions
mostly about the character I like Soma
But he fucking confuses me
first is he a vampire? In each game he ages?
Also which ending in this is Canon?..
