  • The first one sounds like a Real plane

  • that landing at the end sucked, shame on that guy

  • very nice

  • It's a turboprop, which means that it's a turbine driving the prop. You could actually spot it on the large exhausts on the nose of the plane.

  • excuse my ignorance, but taht sounds like a turbine. why does he use a propellor?

  • j'aimerai bien en avoir un maman tu sais quesque tu dois faire...

  • Comment removed

  • whoaaa turbine prop!

  • класс!!!

  • que lugar es ese yo quiero ir

  • este lugar é Cassagnes Bégoniès, Aveyron 12, France

  • DC3 pilot needs recurrent landing training; approach stank, zooming up and down means he doesn't know how to control his speed on final...little or no flare and crunched the wheels...I fly large DC3 models but not as bad as that. Go back to trainers and learn the basics.

  • I think he did a fine job. Can we get a link to some of your videos of you flying them?

  • I agree XBoeingCapt... these guys are flying expensive scale models like 40 size trainers. Just look at some large scale models on youtube and most of the guys flying them cant setup final approach or taxi in a scale like fashion. They either pull up too early on take off and suffer on the climbout and risk stalling. Makes you wonder why they spend so much money on models and fail to learn to fly correctly. The DC3 suffered at the hands of an inexperienced pilot with bragging rights only.

  • Agreed!

I see so many videos of people crashing their RC jet-toys due to too much bank angle or stalling or other things that you wouldn't expect from pilots who has spend hours and thousands of dollars on their models.

Simple check-list and well preformed routines are required.

  • Yeah, really...isn't it annoying how all those guys spend THEIR OWN MONEY building airplanes THEY WANT TO FLY on THEIR OWN TIME, do so THEIR OWN WAY without first CONSULTING YOU on how it's built and flown.

How dare they ENJOY themselves and not live to YOUR standard!

Good God...it's worse than having 2 blade props on a P-51! Any one who would do such a thing should be drawn and quartered!

You two need to get over yourselves. SRSLY.

  • We need to get rid of: Osama Bin Laden, any Muslim terrorists, and mean spirited people like you. You're all equal. Spreading hateful talk when you see one landing. Can't you hear the wind? Did you see the right wing lift off way early? Is it time to flip burgers at McDonalds?

  • are you the pilot? If so, go back to avistars and learn basic flying. I am sick and tired of seeing big beautiful airplanes in the hands of amateurs, suffering...wind? I fly in high winds all the time, when it is too dicey to fly keep her on the ground. I'll have a quarter pounder w/cheese now.

  • ok so you are born to be pilot. let others work out their hobby and if you dont like it DO NOT WATCH. stay far away from modelers and never critisize other mr perfect pilot. i am sick and tired too seeing real amateurs like you hiding behind anonimity and trying to play a role by posting. enough is enough with anyone of you mr perfects.

  • thats what I love about the internet: seeing stupid people like you, come out of their shell disputing on air....read what I said , the pilot of the DC3 needs to learn the basics...take it on face value, if possible, that I fly models and DC3s, all giant scale airplanes. I operate them like aircraft, not toys....am I hiding? I don't think so. Am I playing a role? I don't think so, I am what I said: giant scale modeler, who happens to also be a pilot with alot of time.

  • bravo, i wish one day you can achieve to become human too. bravo space pilot

  • dont you see how stupid you look? You really dont see that? I think noone sees you as a pilot or whatever you said you are, but rather as a dumb miserable fuck whos parents failed in socializing their kid. When you buy him a plane however, then feel free to tell him how to fly. Till then, shut your fucking mouth scumbag.

  • go into a quiet corner, sit in it, then with all you can give it, open your mouth very very wide, pull out your bottom lip and go ahead and swallow yourself. you'll be doing the world a favour. Gee, how I'll miss hearing from you.

  • Haha, very well copied sentences. Both of them. You do have a talent at both - finding and copying sayings from internet. My personal favourite, that also applies to you must be: 'it is impossible to defeat an ignorant man in argument'. Please choke on your quarter pounder (or even better - your own shit) now.

  • zajebiaszcze samoloty

  • era um mosquito no final do vídeo??

  • Azz ma il primo che motore ha?O.o

  • what's the little blue barrel he connects to start the turbine?

  • it is ( i dont know in ingliche ) ch10

  • I think maybe some sort of gas to start the turbine. not sure how those things work. Kind of overkill though lol.

  • No such thing as overkill in this hobby!

  • I think it's compressed air... To get the initial spin up of the turbine. after it speeds up to a certain RPM you inject fuel and off the turbine runs on its own quite efficiently

  • its usually propane to spin it up then kero to run it. ive only seen a RC turbine in person twice though. the guys i saw had a coleman camp stove propane bottle hooked up to start the engine with a gas leaf blower to spin it up (theirs didnt have electric starter motor like the new ones)

  • give me a ride

  • damm men thats good

  • vivre le France! greetings from Hungary!

  • Il n'a pas réussi à le poser correctement les trains ont laché en plus les hélices ont du prendre une claque au contact du sol.

  • 5 stars!

  • Etrange de faire tourner une hélice par une turbine !!

J'ai jamais vu ça ... Tres joli :p

  • The boing is 2 heavy but is cool!

  • Douglas is incredible

  • awesome!! that cessna plane had a turboprop!

  • belo video bom trabalho parabens

  • What on earth. Is that a jet turbine you got under the bonnet!?

  • Pourquoi s' est-t-il fâché le petit bonhomme,

vous n'avez que filmé vous n'avez rien cassé...

  • wow... He came in a little to hard there with that c-47, looks like not enough airspeed for that large a model and ended up folding his landing gears.

  • Now that's cool and different, don't see a lot of rc turboprops. Also, its nice to hear the engine, not some crappy music selection.

  • De toute beaté!

  • skok na płot

  • combien ca coute un avion comme celui-ci

  • je pense plus de 20mille euro

  • superbe reproduction d'avion on dirais un vrais

  • Great filming also. Thank you very much for posting this.

  • Excellent, what an engineer, what a pilot! Bravo!

  • c domage ke le train du dc 3 n'ai po tenu

  • C'est vrai qu'il a très mal posé, mais le train est costaud et il s'était juste mis en position rentré

  • it is difficul for pilot ?

  • normal c'est une turbine

  • muy bueno !!

  • ça siffle!!!!
