@mrjimmyos Try the LE version of the mod. It runs on a 32 bit windows and uses less power, and you get to keep the new maps and, I think, the awesome dynamic shadows.

I remember when I was younger and less privileged. I hated your mod because my computer was a piece of ass and I only had 32 bit. Now I love it... I LOVE YOU. This seems like a great mod to make machinima with.

@BrandNewPro Not really Fake's choice. The amount of crap he added is almost too much for the current Source engine to handle, and 32 bit windows will have a memory overload with CM10 full. Apperently Fake and Valve are working on a fix for the later engine SDKs. I have heard stories of people managing to get this to work on a 32bit windows, but I'm not sure how.

Those luminous splash effects are still in though. Honestly though I don't see the point in insane texture resolution on flat surfaces. When you're more than doubling texture size you'd get a better looking result by adding more detail through (higher-poly) models.

what system specs do you have, since you run it pretty smoothly with the highest settings. my specs are:

with those specs mine runs pretty good aswell but in some bits it pauses for a split second, but i think thats just the game trying to catch up with itself. do you think those specs are good enough for the highest settings?

And thank you for making the music optional in 10.40 - I like most everything else except for some of the music and only a few of the HD NPC models, particularly the female ones. The Barney in one of your trailers is INCREDIBLE, though. All of that's a matter of personal taste, though - it's your artistic direction, after all, not mine.
