We still have this type of signalling at Barnetby where I work. We have 72 levers and work to the country's second largest box Wrawby jcn which is 137 lvers.
been a signalman near 34 years levers to power happy days ive worked around 12 boxes in north east england from 70s till now this is a canny video

Of course this type of signalling is still in use in many places on the national network- so not just the old trains!
