did anybody notice that the parade of nations, from 1990 onwards, is PRE-RECORDED/TAPED AS LIVE? notice most of the girls wore their hair down during the actual opening number... but during the parade of ntns, they "suddenly" had headdresses, wore their hair up, etc.... just noticed it. see for example:

I was there on assignment to take photos of the event, that was already 14 years ago?! lol i'm old. I remember the stunning 6'2" Miss Venezuela was the favorite to win the crown. Filipinos truly loved her and Miss Colombia, that was the expected catfight, and so it was. India was beautiful, and just kept a low profile in the pre-pageantries, she turned out to very intelligent.
