this is really cruel towards the chimps! This chimp is a baby who is being trained to do things unnatural for him and is, when finally too old and too strong (full grown chimps are 8 times as strong as a full grown man) to be trained will be sent to a horrible testing center. Save the chimps!

Chimps are very intelligent, and can be taught almost anything (except speech - they don't have the right vocal chords for speech). They are also capable of emotions, depression, joy, empathy, etc.

They are also extremely powerful for their size - they can break a man's arm without any problem.

I seriously doubt that they are abused by their keepers unless it is in some old circus from Eastern Europe or Asia.

I'm sorry.. I wish it were not true.. but if you do a google seacrh for "Baeckler chimp abuse", you will find many articles on the subject. We find it hard when we laugh at something we shouldn't.. it's human nature. But this kind of entertainment has to be stopped.

not true. In the wild it is not always the biggest and strongest that is alpha male. If a chimp is captive from an early age, it can be kept in a submissive position by force and mental agression. Their food is controlled by their keepers and sticks are often used.. let's not be in denial about this and help stop it by not watching and encouraging this kind of stuff.

I wish this were true and quite possibly in many cases it is true..  but in the vast majority of cases, large wild mammals in captivity ARE abused in order to break their spirit and make them do what we want them to... which is normally "entertaining" humans. There are rehabilitation projects to get such animals back into the semi-wild - also not always successful but wild animals deserve a chance to lead as natural a life as possible.
