I thought the Kinks songs were so perfect/beautiful in the Wes Anderson movie Darjeeling Limited (the whole soundtrack is great). I've loved the Kinks for I guess about 30+ years. Such a great song and gorgeous video here, love it!!!! I don't get the couple people here who are slamming young people who first heard the song in a movie.....?? It makes sense that's how they were introduced to this wonderful music. Anyway, thanks for this vid ! :)
This video for "This Time Tomorrow" is absolutely AWESOME!!! Music quality very good and WITH lyrics!! Thank you so much for posting! I'm a big KINKS fan!! Thank you!
The Animals far and away one of the top 4 ... innovative yet true to the Blues.... also significant in the 70's along with the WHO...looking back and listening, they were better than early Stones and definitely had the best vocalist of all the groups... Kinks probably tied with Beatles for innovation and because of their lack of exposure look for them to gain more respect as their tunes are rediscovered as practically new works...
The who came out around the same time though, i dont understand what youre at with this.
All of the aforementioned groups arose around the exact same time period ( 1964-1969 ) with TONS of growth for all of them in between those years. It went from matching black suits to flack jackets and LSD...
Jaysus, two many brahma, meant to give you one of these lame thumbs up yokes. I agree. Probably one of the reasons the Kinks aren't more lauded today is because none of them died and they weren't able to play in America for most of the late sixties and so don't appear in thall important documentary market. Don't take it hard, man. We'll get through this. Jaysus this is a fine beer.
yo animalfight do u have anything better to do than act like u kno anything bout movies or ppl views on them, n actually i been a fan of the kinks way before andersons last movie ya douchebag
thanks for the comment douche bag. Believe it or not the Kinks and this song did exist before Wes Anderson put it in a movie.
I am surprised you even listened to this song. Didnt it take away from your usual Aerosmith and Kid Rock time? And sorry Wes Anderson doesnt make more shite blow up in his movies. He actually just makes good cinema without having to please the lowest common denominator....um....no offense animalfighter.
wooow thank you wes anderson for putting this song in darjelling limited it makes the freakin movie!!!!! this song is gonna play on my ipod every time i take a trip via airplane, car, train awesome song!
wow..wonderful. I'm a native of the US but have lived in China, Africa, Middle East, Cambodia, Europe...love this. This song always gets my travel bug going. Love it!

One of the greatest songs. The Kinks are probably the most underrated band, and it's a real shame more people haven't been exposed to their music!

I assume this song was in a Wes Anderson film, and he assumes people only listened to this song because of that movie?

This time tomorrow where will we be
On a spaceship somewhere sailing across an empty sea
This time tomorrow what will we know
Well we still be here watching an in-flight movie show
I'll leave the sun behind me and watch the clouds as they sadly pass me by
Seven miles below ma I can see the world and it ain't so big at all
This time tomorrow ............
