Take a box off moth balls from walgreens and spread them around the outside of the coop. It drives snakes away. Need to put fresh box down about every 45 days.

They LOVE to eat the eggs and chicks... Easy meals.. :o) We've pulled a few out of our hen house too. Smart little suckers... He'll/She'll be back so tighten up that wire! :o) Great Video!!
What a bunch of assclowns it is a black rat snake even if it bites it is no big deal. Just pick the dang thing up and take it away. The only harm that thing can cause is eating eggs or chicks.
