I am most definitely in some ways a Conservative, however to be Republican in 2008 is a travesty to any true Conservative principle that the Republicans used to stand for. Republicans this year are Republicans in name only.
However, given the choice between Republican and Democrat, the choice is clear, Republican is the way to go.

It is stupid to be Republican, because you are sheeple. You can better be independent and make up your own mind instead of blindly following either major party. I can vote Republican if someone like Powell would be running. Now I will vote for the Democrat nominee. See, I'm not a stupid sheep like you. I can vote both parties, or even independent, not a stupid blind sheep like you following one party.

What happens in college is that students are swayed by the uber-liberal prof's. Once you get out and stand in line at your kids Dr's office and realize that everyone else there is on medicaid except for you...anger sets in. I went to NYU and stood up and said that same thing, you are ahead of your time my friend. I own a small business and you are correct 100%. Thank you!
