@Manlyman47 I agree! I still cry when I hear this piece of music and think about this scene. Sam was one of my favorite characters in the show! He was faithful and consistent! He never wavered!! Unlike almost all the other characters.
although i did love the series, and it remains my favourite to this day, i didnt like how they used the idea that god was controlling this continuous cycle of life to fill in the cracks.

To be honest with you I didn't like the whole use of Frakking God or Gods throughout the series. I certainly didn't appreciate the whole stupidity behind Baltar and his religious conversion. Why did they have to spoil the series with the use of religion? That was one of the less enjoyable aspects of the series. I would have liked a world without religion in the BSG Universe.

Religion was a common theme throughout the whole series. Should have came to no surprise but it did, because the writers carefully used it. Thus making it an effective theme that turned out not to be cliche. I myself did not like the religions theme either until I realized the greater picture to it and was left speechless. I think the writers really wanted to reach out to us both in social and personal contexts. The cyclical theme of human nature is better though. =) But that in a way ties in.

Dualla+Lee came out of nowhere, but I always had eyes for Dualla and thought she was great for Lee. So I myself could not for my life decide who to root for, and thus felt the torment of being unable to untangle the love quad!
Good one. We don't see the precise fate of the fleet either. The whole finale was ambigious. I don't think Kara or Sam's journey would ever have really ended, I saw them becoming like Baltar and Six's "head angels" and popping up whenever there's a holocaust.
Well, they do mention Sam and Tyrol seeing head angels when their civ gets destroyed. They helped them complete resurrection. I think those are just avatars, a familiar face to tack onto "God"s messengers, whatever they may be.

Haha true. I always thot that Tyrol got shafted pretty bad too - his gf turned out to be a killer robot who eventually got her ass kicked, he turned out to be a killer robot too, his wife got offed by one of his fellow five, his kid turned out to be some other d00ds, he got boned by Boomer a second time when she took Hera, and eventually wound up living alone on Earth in the end.

But in the end I think that's part of what made this show so great. They really meant business and didn't shy away from letting major characters meet grim ends rather than have cheesy happy ends for everyone.

She was indeed late realising she truly loved Anders. I don't think she herself didn't realise it until he was shot.
Still, I always felt both had a certain f*cked-upness that made them fit one another :P

I always liked Kara and Sam as a couple. It was lovely to see them together in death.
And if anything we heard about Hybrids is correct, Anders has become what he wanted to be and glimpsed at creation itself.
