For me personally, Dean isn't a fantastic brand, their Hardtails are some of the best guitars I've ever played, and I am very happy with my American Hardtail. But after you get past that, their higher end guitars seem to be comprised of signature guitars in ugly finishes aimed at fans of that artist. Nothing wrong with that, it's just not my thing.

Also a note, some of deans signature models are.. .well not worth the price compared to other guitars..

You guys need better than factory quality man! like I got a Dean from hell, had problems with the nut, why is the bridge licensed?

I honestly don't think it was built from the original, just a crap copy...

Favorite looking guitar, but i traded it for a alexi 600, thank god the dudes a die hard pantera fan
