  • I'd disown her.

  • HAHAHA I don't know why but this was hysterical.

  • This isint the truth at all...

  • what if you hunt your own turkey?

  • @Mako561 Then you're a legit badass and deserve to eat meat for every meal.

  • @Mako561 EXACTLY

  • Sorry PETA, but I ate duck for my Thanksgiving!

  • @WellDressedDanielle You don't just slit the throat u completely behead it so it dies instantly, then u let the blood flow out

  • In Islam, you`re supposed to kill an animal with as little pain as possible. So since I eat halal meat I don't have to worry about being vegetarian or hurting animals

  • @taloohi101 Yes, same with Kosher meat.

  • @taloohi101 as little pain as possible? the halal process means cutting an animals throat whilst its still alive and letting the blood flow out likley making the animal choke to death on its own blood whilst hung upside down and panicking in extreme pain....

  • "oh and thank you for rainbows"

  • thats sad, i feel bad for turkeys

  • I worked at a turkey factory, they are humanly killed using the CAS system, and the fathers are not burned off, learn the facts first PETA,

  • The funny thing is PETA would not allow us to hunt are own Turkeys either. :/

  • why was this banned its just the truth

  • lol, they don't burn the feathers off

  • @mercercountystud nope... not everywhere, but I supose where you're from there's a more cruel way to get rid of those feathers

  • No wonder this was banned, to suggest that all turkeys are kicked around like footballs, and are killed by stamping on their heads WTF?

  • @kimberley45am I worked at a slaughterhouse and never seen this example indeed... but I've seen WORSE EXAMPLES INSTEAD. We don't treat them with much respect, and one never will when eating the other while there's no need to do that; just because it is sooo tasty... non-vegs are addicts

  • @TheFuckingHeist Cool, they are turkeys. Srs. Deal with it. They would do the same to us if THEY where the dominate being.

  • This commercial contains misinformation.

  • It is so fucking sad that a civilized nation has so little empathy for the needless suffering we cause helpless creatures. If that isn't evil, I don't know what is. I cry all the time about this.

  • carrots grow in poop and you don't see me whining about how "gross" they are.

  • Please join a new movement PETP: People for Ethical Treatment of Plants. Plants die just for the sake of filling up human being's stomach? Plants to decorate your house? Cutting down thousands of plants so we can hang up lights, bulbs and ornaments on it on Christmas? How unthinkable! This must stop! Join PETP today!

  • People should stop eating meat! This girl tells it like it is. It's time we stop hiding from the truth. We won't cook and eat another human, why cook and eat another live being, an animal?! UGH SICK.

  • we need more things like this on tv, people need to know whats realy going on out there. As much as i love things like kfc or mcdonalds i would rather have them all close donw instead of letting animals suffer =(

  • I believe in animal welfare not animal rights. If tigers and bears can eat meat than so can i, its natural. The incidents peta points out and brings to the public's attention are mostly isolated. I assure you most turkey farmers do not mistreat their birds like this video says. I mean why would they? Every bird to them is money so why would they want to waste it. I'm so sorry you people are so ignorant. toodles

  • Yes peta, I would eat a fucking dog. Its meat and it would keep me alive.. Everyone who supports peta has apprently never been in a shitty spot in a 3rd world country and had to stay alive.. Grow some balls and eat a fucking hamburger.

  • Roll eyes, roll eyes, roll eyes.

  • That little girl is just like me I bring up the awful truth of things too

  • HHAHAHAHHAA I love this world soooooo much.

  • So... Humans are not predators in any way? Really, PETA? REALLY?

    Are you seriously suggesting that?

  • @legohelicopter Yes; I still eat meat and now I'm deciding to stop doing it. Why? Because 1. we don't need to eat meat, 2. we do have acces to vegetables and fruits, and we have more than enough of it to consume, to the whole world. 3. it's not good to our body nor to our mind to eat meat. 4. If we CAN let that animals live, why wouldn't we do it? Just because we feel its tasty because we assocciate that taste with good moments of our life (read about Conditioning).

    Thanks for reading.

  • @naurito I am so happy to hear that, and I appreciate your honesty and thoughtfulness. It is hard to venture into a vegan or even vegetarian lifestyle. I wish you the best of luck. Like you said, just because we CAN doesn't mean we SHOULD.

  • @legohelicopter I agree with you 100%. They are a bunch of hypocrites that support other animals rights, and some of those animals they support literally eat other animals alive. We don't even do something as bad as that. As humans, we are animals that have the hunger for meat. They should stop trying to force their beliefs down everyone's throat.

  • @PatrioticAmerican15 There's a difference between the animals we eat and the animals animals eat. We cage our animals for their entire lives, inject them with growth hormones and antibiotics, and then kill them at a dismal fraction of their normal life span (even with natural predators taken into account.) Animals in factory farms are subject to inconceivable torture that has been routinely caught on tape.

Sure, I detest PETA, but I hate animal agriculture much more.

  • @legohelicopter I'm not sure what you mean by that. Humans obviously are more than capable of predatory behavior. Is there a comparable predator who has the ability to house, breed, and imprison their prey? Possessing the ability to kill other creatures is not moral justification to do so.

  • Animals are not "THINGS" for us to buy and trade or eaten, period! just like human who wish not to suffer from such conditions. how hard is it for human to love sentient beings - meaning beings that have "feelings", "consciousness", either high or low, "emotion", when happy, you jump with joy, when sad, you cry..Whoever think that animals do not possess these quality, sorry to say, must be super retarded. because that's exactly my dog and birds does, shown in different degrees.

  • i still had an awesome thanksgiving

  • now past the gravy!

  • I've been hunting since I was 8, though the more I learn the more it doesn't appeal to me. My knowledge is an accumulation from both sides of the isle. I feel for the farmer who knows no other business & just simply wants to provide but I also feel for PETA who knows the truth behind 50% of the industry which has a very dark side. I call it an evolution of ethics. China still eats dogs for food. The USA has ethically evolved to not do this. PETA is just simply evolving faster than the rest.

  • @TravisVadon Great, man, thanks for your words about your experience and knowledge!

  • you know just because not ALL the slaughter houses treat animal like shit, doesn't mean most of them or part of them does. 45.000.000 turkeys were killd this year, just for thanksgiving. Don't try to make it look like you're not doing something wrong.

  • And........she said 'Let's ate.'

  • thanks for shitting on all good farmers PETA

  • I was thinking about going vegan, but then I started working at a meat department and started noticing all the wasted meat. The animals died for nothing. May as well keep eating meat because then there will be less wasted.

  • Dont they have something to do with PETA bread?

  • when PETA shows this much concern for human beings, then I'll take them seriously.

  • why is she wanting to eat the turkey if she just said all of that? this commercial kind of contradicts itself because most people know animals suffer and dont give a flying fuck which is what shes doing saying all the things that happened to the turkey but she still says at the end lets eat? what the fuck.

  • @69Cortesz I'm pretty sure the little girl was being sarcastic.

  • A lot of u are quite ridiculous.. we don't have the right to eat meat? Are u serious? Does a tiger have the right? Might as well ask does a plant have the right to take nutrients from soil? And as for the video, I'm pretty sure veggies came from dirt/poop and have chemicals. Last I knew they were alive as well. I do support one issue raised in that the resources required to supply massive meat hungers are getting out of hand.

  • @BiGWeeM It's not so much whether or not we have a "right." It's more about the fact that killing a sentient creature that needn't be killed is inherently inhumane, and humans are capable of rising above that. Tigers (your example) do not have WalMarts, supermarkets, or agriculture. Their methods of extracting food are incomparable and thus should not be compared to humans, just as we would ask tigers to represent us in lawsuits, or become doctors, we hold our standards to theirs.

  • According to science, a fruit eating ape found itself driven out of the forest and into the grassland. In order to find the life sustaining protein, it had to change it's diet to include meat. Without the teeth and claws to compete with the meat eating animals that were already there, the ape developed a large brain to deal with the situation. Meat eating is credited for human intelligence.

I guess some just didn't evolve to that stage.

  • @qpwillie This may have been a necessity in primitive times, but it no longer is. And thus eating meat is no longer necessary, and the reason for primates eating meat originally is now moot.

  • So it's ok for animals to eat other animals, but it's NOT ok for HUMANS to eat animals? Now please explain the logic to me behind that. Our ancient, ancient ancestors did it, so why now is that a problem?

    It shouldn't be.

  • @internationalvibe yea, but you see the problem is that these days we treat animals like lifeless tools for our consumption. We do horrible things to them just like this girl said in the video before we kill them. Our ancestors had to go out and kill the animals that have been living a nice normal life in the wild. i wouldnt be angry with these factory's if they let them live a happy life and kill them humanly instead of treating animals like crap.

  • @internationalvibe Our ancient ancestors did many deplorable things that are no longer considered appropriate. If you are okay with lowering our standards to that of lower species', you will need to rethink many other moral standards you likely possess. Namely, abandon the laws and ethics of civilization, bathing, medical care, and other human-made inventions based in moral awareness that other creatures are incapable of possessing.

  • "I asked my seven-year-old son Aedan if there was a gentle way to harm someone, and he laughed at me, as if surprised to be asked such a silly question. When you think about it, the notion of harming anyone in a "humane" way is ridiculous, and just as impossible as it sounds. There is no polite way to harm someone else, no gentle way to inflict pain, and absolutely no way to "humanely" take someone's life. " (This includes the turkey. Continued...)

  • @aeriarose EXACTLY. "Humane meat" is an oxymoron, and a euphemism to make omnivores with some sense of empathy feel better. If you look up the definition of humane, it means putting one's compassion for another before one's selfish desires. Meat that has been killed is definitively NOT humane, because it is unnecessary for human survival.

  • (...continued) "...What has already taken me many words to articulate, my seven year old son Aedan summed up in three words: "It is wrong." I think we all know deep within our hearts that it is wrong, but we have all been taught to perceive that wrong as something acceptable or necessary, so we somehow justify our involvement or endorsement of it." -Cayce Mell

  • Largely hidden from view, every year over 9 billion chickens and 250 million turkeys are raised on factory farms and killed in our nation's slaughterhouses. Their suffering often goes unseen and their cries unheard - until now.

Website: mercy for animals dot org forward slash hor

  • @aeriarose I love that website. Keep spreading the word of compassion!

  • "It makes no difference to the turkeys whether their dead bodies are roasted whole or processed into paste, even less than it matters to me whether my corpse will be buried or cremated. Respect for the corpse is a very poor substitute for respect for the being. Both I and the turkeys would rather live out our natural lives -- nothing that fails to respect that, regardless of how we might be killed or what happens to the corpse afterward, is humane." -Tom Swiss

    See humane myth dot org!

  • I feel this video... Vegan 4 Life!

  • Enjoy your Grass.

    I'ma eat a steak Raw

  • Meat IS food, and that's a fact.

  • @meowandmeow Meat is of dead animals. Killing animals for meat is unnecessary, therefore, meat is also unnecessary. Whether or not you choose to make it your food, there is no need to do so.

  • I wonder what to Eskimos would think of PETA, lol.

  • @SirBurstify All eskimos eat is fish.

  • @SirBurstify Are YOU an Eskimo? Or a bushman? There's no reason why anyone in a developed country should require flesh in their diet. Indeed it is a contradiction to anything compassionate OR civilized. ;)

  • @SirBurstify I think eskimos don't have comparable vegetation or agriculture/supermarket availability that most americans and/or europeans watching this do, therefore they could not be expected to feel the same way.

  • I wish I knew about this kind of stuff when I was younger. But I became vegetarian 7 months ago. But when I was at Warped Tour 5 months ago, PETA gave my friend and I some CDS about how meat was for zombies. I was already vegetarian and knew this was extremly true. I signed up for their email and watched the video with my friend. Thanks you PETA for showing me and 2 of my very good friends that we needed to stop being a walking cemetary. I became vegan and my friends became vegetarian. xo

  • You can't tell lies in a commercial? But Mitt Romney just did! Oh wait, you can't tell lies in a commercial when it counters the right-wing corporatist agenda. i see the difference.

  • I don't care what Peta says. I think it's OK to eat meat. I don't think it's OK to abuse animals though. But we humans can raise farm animals without abusing them. Peta believes everyone should be vegans. I don't.

  • electrickithara

The raising of animals is inherently abusive for two reasons

    1) meat consumption is far higher than growth production thus exercise is cut from the birds & they've been bred to grow far past natural limits

    2) the animal has no say in whether its life is culled or not & given the opportunity would choose life.

If you think we can raise animals humanely yet ram a blade in their throat please tell me how.

PS peta supports welfare not abolition, it promotes vegetarianism too

  • @TheTvrulesthenation

farm animals are indeed bred to grow larger in some cases, but in many cases it does not harm them. it can cause more problems if proper care isn't taken but if it is, no harm is done.

of course the animal has no say.it can't talk. i don't support over killing, but some is necessary for us to eat meat, which is needed in our diets, much like every other omni/carnivore.

you can easily raise animals humanely and kill them with human methods.

  • @electrickithara Right you are. I wouldn't be vegan if the animals were raised in an ethical way. But, nowadays, it's about maximizing the profit. Screw living conditions, screw morals and ethics. It's all about money to the industry.

  • @electrickithara You don't think head chopping or throat slitting is "abuse"? YIKES!

  • @electrickithara you are awesome i so argee your not going too kill the planet just beaces you eat buck most endagerd species are so because of loss of habbitat and for fun hunting i never was able to go to a store to buy bald eagle or panda meat

  • This is actually funny and brilliant lol

  • I support your cause!

  • DONT RUIN THANKSGIVING!!!!

  • People who live in cities and towns have many cruelty free dietary options available. We do not have the right to eat meat. Meat is murder because unnecessary killing is murder. We don't need to kill and eat animals to survive, therefore it's unnecessary bloodshed. Meat production is not ecologically sustainable and never will be again because of the size of the human population. No one who lives in a modern society has the right to eat meat. It should be illegal.

  • @ByronicElectronic WHere do you get off telling me I don't have a right to eat meat? What higher being gave you the power to tell me what I have the right to do? So you are saying because you don't agree with it then everyone else is wrong? Really open minded there. So I guess bears don't have the right to eat meat either. They eat barries and roots do why do they have to eat animals? Plus they kill them in a painful way too. Inhuman! We should hunt down all meat eating bears too.

  • @ByronicElectronic

You do know how many animals are ripped from the ground and grounded into much,by the machines that get you your veggies....Right? Oh and the lizards and other bugs...

Yeah you are murderers too. And just cause you don't eat meat, doesn't mean you saved any animals. They're still in the slaughter house, being killed.

So why don't you do us all a favor, and actually go out and free them all, instead of rambling off your hypocritical bs?

  • awesome thanksgiving commercial! All hail Tofurkey!

  • Happy Murdered Bird Centerpiece Day!

  • I'm a vegatairian but i dont't think you should tell us what we can and can't eat!

  • "Why Say Grace, When We Can Show It"?

Matthew Scully asks us this question in his fabulously profound book...Dominion.

Whether we eat meat or not, would it harm us be a little more gracious in our dealings animals and poultry? .

  • Great Commercial. Even though they don't get aired, they sill get circulated all over the internet. Thank you PETA

  • With all mock meats out there that are simply delic. Why mess with turkey? Better tasting, better health, better for environment...

    Not expensive...

  • if you don't like this, then you can't deal with the truth.

  • well i rescued some turkeys from a free range turkey farmer just before there were sent for killing, 2 died with in a week of heart attack, the males could not stand, and the the females had a respiratory problem, its all about bigger profits as quick as poss, shame we are sooooo greedy, thanksgiving for WHAT, christmas celebration of a birth, not DEATH,

  • what an awkward thanks giving dinner...........gee thanks kid i guess

  • This is funny!

  • I wish I could send this to people without them hating me.

  • @lovehorseslovejonas Cognitive dissonance destroys humanity's morality. It is the limit of our progress, which is so, so sad.

  • This is why Im a VEGAN. Im MAN enough to give a fuck and stand up for the voiceless.

  • @durianriders personaly you are a extremest it don't make you right it just makes you louder and it still don't mean a thing. do you were hemp shoes? i bet you have leather in one way or another. how many trees did you save buying a wooden house? what do you do with your trash? have you ever owned a car? do you recycle your shoes? or your clothes? you can tell me nothing you do impacts the earth or wildlife? don't eat meat but don't make yourself look bad making comments you don't back up.think

  • @durianriders are you single? :)(: I need a good man with this type of moral strength.

  • Going vegan is the best of human nature.

  • These kinds of turkey farms have been found yes, but congress is more aware of it now. This example is the worst kind of farms that have been found, it's not fair to generalize. There are organic farms, there are old fashioned farmers who don't rely on machinery, etc. This commercial is just as offensive as making a generalization about race to promote your lifestyle viewpoint.

  • @broadwaymelody33 Perhaps the methods of imprisoning and killing helpless animals have improved, but they are by no means ethical. Did you know that most "humane" labeled meat products still permit surgical mutilation without anesthesia, for example?

  • Very great !

  • lmao

  • PeTA should do a commercial which explains how many thousands of acres of forests and wetlands are mowed down to facilitate farmland to grow vegetarian and vegan food, in effect killing and displacing millions of wild animals.

  • @SatanicFilmHouse Actually far more land is cleared in order to grow grain, soybeans, etc. to feed the animals who meat-eaters will eventually consume. The meat industry is extremely inefficient: It takes 16 lbs of grain to produce just 1 lb of beef--That's like THROWING AWAY 15 lbs of food! According to the United Nations, raising animals for food (including land used for grazing & land used to grow feed crops) uses 30% of the Earth's land mass. The meat industry is horrible for the environment

  • So, God made these birds for us to eat, or he made snakes that talk to trick us, or he made an OAP build a boat or he made a guy kill his sons, then he made us torture animals but he didnt mean it really, so its Gods little joke that he gave us animal testing. Thank God the Bible answers all these conflicting ideas. I'd ask God why he did all these confusing things but I think hes in Africa giving babies Aids, or helping "terrorists" plan their next attack on the US. Isnt God a cheeky chap?

  • @cmomofilm you are to simple minded to get a response for that comment. you obviously don't know the first thing about religion and you are to dumb to know the food chain. don't eat meat if you don't want to but if you want to be a moron do it in private

  • @cmomofilm haha :P

  • I like Rainbows

  • Omg, I'm gonna definitely do that as a vegan while I sit down with my tofurky, and my family says grace for their turkey.

  • Why did God moves in with this video

  • Genesis 9:4: "But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood."

Proverbs 12:10 The righteous one is concerned for his beast.

Genesis 9: 4-5 Flesh shall ye not eat

PETA KEEP ON DOING GOD'S WORK! Amen!

  • @WinterHaven why don't you read Genesis 9:3 before putting bible words in actual life.... thank you!!! Peta should focus on treatment and exposed those who violate them.. and not banned all that do it humane....

  • @WinterHaven Ok, I'm sure most of us don't eat living animals "with its life."

  • Why the heck is it banned!!

  • lets be honest with ourselves animals eat each other all the time we do not stop this and unfortunatly we are animals , Deal with it animals eat each other instead of protecting and stopping people from eating animals(LIKE ALL ANIMALS DO) how about you help protect them in a way that dosn't involve changing the whole dietary system of ever human on eart

  • ......meanwhile in reality.

  • Lol peta, you make it sound funny

  • you do relize that the turkey would die anyway, and that turkey is healthy for people, and that turkeys arent trated like that at all. learn the facts guys

  • Eating meat is something I won't stop doing. But, I agree with PETA about not liking animals being abused, slaughtered harshly, and treated terribly.

  • wow just wow* (Tom from edds world)

  • Such an effective campaign against cruelty to turkeys... And then Peta goes and ruins it by adding 'go vegan'.

Not every single outlet of food production is cruel to animals. There is absolutely no reason to go absolutely vegan because of one corrupt, American, isolated area of problem. :)

  • @BarneyArr The problem is, how can you possibly predict whether the animals you eat have been treated appropriately? Not to mention the fact that factory farms could care less of the welfare of their animals. That's just the way things are, and I can assure you that it's not isolated since most of these animals are raised on factory farms.

You might not like the suggestion to go vegan, but it's ultimately a full-proof solution to this form of animal cruelty.

  • @smashchamps77 How can you possibly predict that all factory farm animals are mistreated? From a few isolated cases? Your argument can be used both ways. Factory farms face heavy fines for mistreatment of animals and they can't use sick or "damaged" goods so-to-speak. That's not to say they're treated like kings, but they depend on the animals you say they care less about. Going vegan may be A way, but far from the best nor would it stop others from eating meat.

  • @DetritusRelated living by example will create awareness...even if farm has chickens and cows that are treated wonderfully? Slaughter is slaughter,,,and murder is murder...... killing an innocent life to satisfy your taste is immoral

  • @DetritusRelated You missed the point. I wasn't trying to suggest that all farm animals were being mistreated. I was merely explaining that, due to the reality that a significant portion of them are mistreated, it would be difficult for the average consumer to determine if they are purchasing a humane product. Factory farms, where most of our meat comes from, tend to exacerbate animal cruelties. You may disagree, but video documentation of the squalid living conditions and abuse shows otherwise.

  • luckily i only eat chicken

  • It was banned because it's slanderous against turkey farmers. If you tell lies in a commercial you might not be able to play it. I've raised commercial chickens before and never were they ever in a cage, never locked up. they had an entire field to roam around in or a giant barn to roost in. When we took them in for slaughter their heads were cut off immediately for an instant painless kill so they didn't have to suffer. Also we add zero chemicals to our birds. only salt solution.

  • @reggiefavre slaughter is slaughter pain is pain..... killing an animal for to satisfy your wants to me is inhumane. no matter how an animal is killed...the only time you should eat meat is when you need to survive

  • @reggiefavre you should definitely watch 'Earthlings'. Just a suggestion.

  • @russaac Everybody should watch Earthlings. Earthlings should be mandatory viewing for all humans before they're allowed to buy meat. You shouldn't be allowed to stick your fingers in your ears and decide to be ignorant of the industries you contribute to. Eat meat if you want to, wear fur, whatever. But only make the choice to do so when you have the facts.

  • @TheSplatt01 Well put! There's a good quote: "Don't ask me why I'm vegan. Ask yourself why you're not" I remember back when I was a carnivore, and I wasn't a bad person - only ignorant. It's time for people to WAKE UP to the truth about how our addictions are choking the planet and creating suffering. Thanks for posting.

  • @veglistings

Why is it bad to eat animals, but perfectly fine to eat plants?

If an animal could talk, it would say "please don't eat me". Well, so would a plant. You are still killing a living thing. But go ahead and make yourself feel better and say "they don't feel anything". Still killing a living thing.

Ripping the poor things from their homes in the ground, or tearing off pieces of its extremitys. That its trying to use to reproduce. YOU ARE CONSUMING ITS BABIES!

    Murderer.

  • @girzwald3 Plants do not have central nervous systems. Animals do, and even bugs have ganglion nervous systems. Nerves are what send sensory information (incl. pain) throughout a body. It is nearly impossible that plants feel pain, but it is without a doubt that animals do.

  • Some people think its more extreme to start a plant-based diet and better their health. I think its more extreme to murder an innocent animal and stuff food up its ******* every year for "tradition". I SUPPORT LOGICAL THINKING!

  • @TheSplatt01 "Earthlings should be mandatory viewing for all humans" is EXACTLY what I said after watching it. I agree wholeheartedly.

  • @reggiefavre

oh so because you personally didn't do it that to the turkeys that means all the other stuff is forgivable? Face the facts! a LARGE MAJORITY of the Turkeys are treated EXACTLY like the little girl says in this video. there's tons of video evidence of it, so I'm sorry you won't accept reality. and it WASN'T banned because it tells lies, because it doesn't. It's banned because the meat industry is a giant corporation and PETA is a non-profit org. Who wins in capitalism?

  • @reggiefavre You still kill them dude

  • @reggiefavre You're describing free-range poultry, which is a selling point. Not everybody who raises poultry does it free-range. In fact, you're in a small minority.

  • @Akira62881 That is very true about the free range part. However the chemicals part is the same throughout. When you freeze a turkey like most farmers do for a thanksgiving bird, there is really no need to add chemicals.

  • @reggiefavre

most farm animals, not all but many, are being packed in small cages and tortured to death so that stupid people can have a turkey for Thanksgiving. The meat industry receives billions in subsidies each year to sell turkey meat and part of the money goes to the government through tax to support wars in other countries. Actually, people who eat meat are responsible for the wars we're involved in

  • @reggiefavre you obviously don't work on an industrial farm, which supply most of the Turkeys that people consume. The fact is that many industrial farms do engage in the sort of activity outlined in this video. But let's go with your original point. You believe that simply because animals are killed in a more humane way, that it makes it o.k. to eat them. What is the rationale? Simply because they taste good? Meat consumption is unnecessary to live a happy (and much more healthy) life.

  • @Lunarwill but my dear colege. are we not part of the animal kingdom.

it is simply part of nature for animals to eat other animals.

  • @Lunarwill We are selves are animals that eat meat as well as various plants(Omnivores), we must consume for our survival just like other animals consume for their own well being, plenty of animals love to dismember and eat us too if they can find us. To say not to eat meat is irrational. The only thing i will ever agree with PETA on is to make sure animals are killed without methods of torture or heavily drugged etc. But overall, the human species will and should consume meat.

  • @Lunarwill Without meat, we would die because of no major nutrients.

  • @StoneMan4302 What makes you think that? I am a vegan and I have no nutrient deficiencies. Look online, look at the media. There are many, many people who are alive and healthy without meat in their diets. Entire populations, such as Indians, adopt meat-free lifestyles.

  • @Lunarwill

so your basically saying that it's wrong for animals to eat other animals?? People are animals too..just like wolves, tigers, bears, etc. You say people have a choice to eat something else rather than meat, but so does bears, badgers, etc. You wouldn't go up to a bear and tell it to become a vegan. it's nature...deal with it

  • @ruckaisawesome There's a difference. A bear is not intelligent enough to know what they are doing. We are! Besides, a bear just eats their prey and it's over with. I WOULD MUCH RATHER BE EATEN BY A BEAR THAN STUCK IN A MEAT FACTORY OR BE ANY OTHER INNOCENT ANIMAL THAT ENDURES SUCH CRUELTY BY A SPECIES THAT KNOWS AND CAN DO BETTER.

  • @Lunarwill First don't say much more healthy, because that is not true. That's just your opinion. Second, the majority of people enjoy thanksgiving turkey and it supports an industry. The reason the commercial was not aired was because the message was not entirely true about many of the turkey farms.

  • @reggiefavre - where did you read that was why it was banned? Do you have that information? Also, even if what you wrote was true, and it is simply nearly impossible to make profit doing it the way you stated, but some do, so we will assume your truth. Would you like your head cut off, simply because it was fast? Nothing makes me more sick than seeing an animal killed, than seeing all the WASTE that goes in the garbage of the people who make so much food they cannot even consume it all.

  • @3lachmunds I agree with you about that last part. It is sickening. In my family we even use the remains to make a soup out of so nothing goes to waste. and any fat and waste goes to the dogs. As far as being hard to make a profit, it is actually somewhat profitable. We do whatever we can to keep costs low, and it actually makes things easier sometimes because we don't have to clean any cages ever.

  • @reggiefavre i understand you are not savage beasts like the ones in slaughter house videos but i still dont think its right to eat animals and i would not want to eat them and if they were mine i would especially not want to eat them because i would have built a special bond with the animals i fed everyday and took care of just like my dog. animals value their lives just as much as humans.

  • reggiefavre

PETA is by and large an american based organisation, america also has one of the highest rates of factory farming in the world. It accounts for an overwhelming majority (85%+ if i recall right) of the meat market. What it says is by & large true for where its advertising was proposed to be aired. I disagree with PETAs aims and many of their activities, but this ad is spot on for the hundred of millions of turkeys that will die

  • @reggiefavre Nobody would be speaking of turkey farming if your methods were the norm. what percentage of turkey is farmed humanely? 0.001 percent? Obviously this ad was not banned for lying. It was banned like all the other animal rights videos are banned. For telling the truth and for not following the lies.

with your stupid theory, the happy california cheese cows ad should be banned, for lying. lies only work one direction. only lies that show animals happy, will be allowed in ads.

  • @DanielManahan Putting 'humane' and 'killing' in the same sentence is contradictory, doublespeaking moral hypocrisy. I'd invite anyone who disagreed to earnestly read the definitions of both words themselves, and argue a coherent disagreement.

  • I believe that humane treatment of animals is the main issue addressed here. I'd still eat the turkey but it would be nice to know that at least it was killed and de-feathered in a more humane way. I appreciate that this video educated me about this issue.

  • So animals care when they attack us? If ya want animals and man to be equal either animals are gonna have to care or humans can be cruel to animals. Since you can't change an animals instinct, why should we care for animals?

  • LIke peta everyone in the video was like WTF is wrong you girl. STFU and eat your turkey. I do agree they shouldn't treat turkey's so badly but I wouldn't go vegan because of it. Going vegan is against human nature we are for the most part Meat eaters. Your not gonna tell a Lion to stop eating meat are you? Now if someone doesn't like meat that is fine. But STFU and leave us alone.

  • @Zrorro really ignorant.....We are not wild animals and do not need to eat meat to survive.....we have a choice....and a clear choice is going vegan or vegetarian. we shouldn't be obsessing about if its natural or not...because in my opinion our diet what comes out of the ground....look at the damage we are causing...look at the pain these animals have.the question is if we can...the answer is yes....the question is will help humanity, the answer is yes..your simple answer will be.it taste good.

  • @elmo1057 your wrong if we want meat its none of your business just because you don't want it don't make it proper do you think everyone is wrong but you, hmmm. typical. there are a lot bigger things that will help humanity other than what we eat. like energy, medication, famine, poverty, pollution, eating a burger is not even relevant in the real world. tell me do you live in a cave or a wooden home? car? soccer ball? football? you're a hypocrite look around you its all killing the planet.

  • You are sick people and you enjoy making the poor innocent animals suffer!!!! Animals have families that love them and feelings, just like you and me!!!!!!! think what mommy and daddy animal think when you torture and kill their little babies and then eat their corpses!!!

  • If humans are going to hurt animals to feed our filthy, disgusting faces, then i think all people should be aware of what we are eating. They just banned it because they don't want people to know the dark truth of how humans are.

  • Why would i want to go vegan? PETA is a bunch of hippys that support muscle pills that coulde be bad for mens health.

  • People said PETA is bad, I think it's over generalising. Without PETA, video with such message will be ignored. At least some haters' gonna think a little no matter what. If they grow their hates it's not people's who have been trying to bring out good message such as this problems!

  • lol. Its kida funny coz at the end everybody looks like they dont want to eat it. But it is a serious matter! :L

  • This commercial is sad. Let people who want to eat meat, eat meat. Don't let little girls get brain washed into thinking meat is bad. I'm all for the animals going to the slaughter house get a good life before bring killed, and killing them in a way so they don't Suffer!

  • @rosamedina18 you piece of flesh, are dumb.

  • @rosamedina18 It doesn't show the girl not eat the meat. She does nt say meat its bad. She is talking about turkey and how they get treated.

  • Excellent message. Love your fellow beings people.
