There's armor but nothing that will change your characters physical look. After all, it's an FPS so you don't really see your guy anyways lol

I heard a dev say, change your appearance, skill tree..ect ect. So maybe your 'gear' will change your appearance.

No, we are assuming that you kan do small things like add blades to the end of guns or add silensers, but you kant mod. its a good idea, but it would ruin the point of getting loot. You kould just take all the best parts of guns and make a god gun. This keeps it more unique, you never know what you have, and you'll almost never see the same guns. The estimates right now at in between 3 and 17 million guns. (theres a lot of numbers floating around)

yea he said there's modifications you can do. Such as augments. And they said this is the biggest world gearbox has made so far so its gonna be pretty damn big. I mean fallout 3's was pretty large so i can't imagine something larger

They wanted something new.Not something thats been done a million times. The graphix are akually done the way they DREW them. They painted it all and basikally skanned it it. They wanted it to look like the game art did.

- Gun Count (current) 17,750,000

- Vehicle Count 12 (types but unlimited customization)

- Over 1 hour to drive from edge to edge of map, in fastest vehicle.. game world is bigger than Connecticut

- 4 player co-op local AND online (not sure about LAN sorry)

- APPROX 2 million pieces of armour.

-10,000+ vehicle guns and weapons.

1000 vehikle parts. There isnt armor per se, but klothes that are only asthetik. they hated how you would play most RPG's and get some armor that looks AWSOME then have to trade it for something that looks dumb, and nothing goes together. the klothes are just for looks. I dont knw where you heard 2 million from but I hope your right. I think thats just spekulation though. Join the forums.

I know you can play it split screen, but when you do can you invite one person's saved character into your saved character's world, like you can online?

Or in split screen, are they just forced to play as a "Guest" or something, like in Fable II?

I, for one, and happy to see a shooter based game that isn't covered in brown filtering to look like CoD. Ugh, I'm sick of the dull colors in shooters. So that change in art style is a nice thing for me. You may be right about it getting less love, but I still think it has potential to be GotY.
