I actually like this movie, and I wouldn't mind watching it again if it came on. I think in a way the film is educational, because it does make you think. Gender is a very taboo subject, especially female gender. Not a lot of men like to admit it, but whether you admit it or not, you still thought about it.

I never knew anything about this condition. Why has science surpressed this. Why is it being made known now that 10-12% of college students have this Z chromosome? I thought the movie was great too! This was a clever comedy that actually made me laugh. If you enjoyed Lars and the Real Girl, you'll probably like this but it's even more fun bizarreness. The acting was engaging and everything just worked . It offers a list of memorable qutoes. And even if you don't like the movie you'll at least appreciate the sound track.

If you discover you have the extra chromosome, don't worry, there may be support groups in your area.

I didn't think much about this movie when I first heard about it. But, actually sitting to watch it, was a real nice flick about being in love with someone, no matter what they are.

I'm sure there are many guys/girls who would like to switch genders for a day, a week to see how it feels like to be, think, feel, experience what the opposite sex does. Its human curiosity, and the film captures the very essence/confusion/uncertainty of being the opposite gender.

Wow!!! I was right this movie is like the anime Ranma 1/2. You should check out the anime also, there are some similarities, but no copy-off or something like that. Maybe this should have been a live-action Ranma 1/2 movie. That would be so cool.

Sure, it's primarily a teen-oriented movie, and not a deeply intellectual, older-adult drama, but it was an amusing and entertaining movie to me, even though I'm 51. When I was younger, we had teen-oriented movies, such as "American Graffiti," but they were never really as funny and off-beat as this. I give it four out of five stars as my rating.
