this is not hip hop. Just because a black guy makes it doesn't make it hip hop. If nething, this is experimental/electronic music. The hip hop influence seems to take a back seat to the more the Aphex Twin era electronic sounds and free jazz. The occasional kick/kick/snare drum pattern does not hip hop make. FlyLo does have a knack for restructuring samples, the likes of which i have only seen with people like Dilla, but that does not make it hip hop. At the end of the day, it is what it is.
