Thanks and I know what you mean, I actually feel that way about a lot of Austen's heroes, I have started reading a book called Mr Knightley's diary by Amanda Grange and I am hoping to get the one on Capt Wentworth next, I like seeing inside their heads even if it is not JA's version :)

My sister is trying to get me to read a trilogy by Pamela Aidan from Darcy's perspective. I'm not sure what time frame it covers. Apparently Ms. Aidan has done extensive research and is pretty good with this one. My sister is quite picky.  :) They're titled "These Three Remain," "Duty and Desire, and "An Assembly Such as This." Oh I love Persuasion! They showed it here this saturday and I was blown away by RPJ's acting...*in love* I didn't see any other version of it and I just started to read the book but it made me cry and it is soo beatiful that i'm a big fan now )))

:D I love the story too, its one of my favourite Jane Austen stories, make sure you read the version that has the deleted chapter, RPJ is very fine, I became a big fan after seeing him in Persuasion, I am a fan of the other version too, the one with Ciaran Hinds and Amanda Root, I have the 1971 version too, but I found it a bit slow.
