@Randymyr Hi! This one is custom made but it's not that big (2 x 3 x 2 ft) since she only uses it at nights to sleep and during hibernation (now) besides there are another two "cat boxes" in the house where she uses to sleep as well. I take her out everyday while she is active so if you plan to let yours in there for a few days I strongly recommend you to get a bigger one. =)

@gebris353 Alright, cuz I was reading 6x3x2, but I was also thinking that, with my pets anyways, I try and make sure everything gets some time outside of their tank, unless they don't really want to. Especially my python, so she can get a good stretch. I don't like taking my geckos out side since they're so fast, but they still get some around the house time.

@PerfectDuck Thanks! I find it awesome too, they even use that inner eyelid to clean the eye itself by kinda taking it out of the eye and closing the (external) eyelid!

me encantan los reptiles, tengo 14 años y me gustan todo tipo de reptiles, veras tengo 3 tortugas de pantano, una pequeña es hembra y es nueva en mi hogar, se asusta al verme y se esconde en su caparazon, pobrecita, tengo otra mediana que casi la tengo domada, no se fia del todo de mi, aunque lleva años con migo, creo que desde los 4 años la tengo, y la grande es tambien reciente, lleva 1 año con migo, solo me hacen caso a la hora de comer jajaja suerte con juancho.

Si vienen a Mardel es en San Martin y San Juan, se llama acuario Océano y estaban los chiquitos algo de $45 hace un tiempo. En los otros lados buscate en google por criadero "El gringo" o llamá al ente de turismo de la provincia y te dicen. Abrazo!

I really cant compare since I never had a bearded dragon, but these are not hard to tame from baby and if you dont give them alive food (they can become agressive).

That is called burrowing there is a big difference between saying Juancho makes his bed and Juancho burrows under his hide. When u said make his bed i was expecting it to go under a blanket or something even that wouldn't be making his bed though. You should call it Juancho goes to bed or something. This video deffinately doesnt deliver on the title.

I dont keep her in a cage, she free roams the house all the time, except by nights to not step on her. But this one is not big enough to keep a tegu all the time.

The floor is not cold since it's made of wood, most of the time he can get sunbathes but I use to get him hot water bags if the day is not warm enough.

I bought him 10 years ago, I dont know if all the tegus are affectionate but mine kinda is, I mean of course he is not a dog, but he will stay with me when I pet him, call it warm, food, etc. I like to believe he is just nice. =)

Very beutiful tegu. i had an iguana that would walk up the stairs to follow me whereever i went. i also wanted to give you props and thanks for keeping her in such a good encloser. i cant stand people that give their reps cardboard and newspapers.

I love iguanas too, but since I dont have enough time to keep two reptiles I preffer keeping only Juancho for now. Glad you like the enclosure, it has kinda a cave where to hibernate now, but if you think is small (I do) dont worry cause he just uses it for sleeping at nights, he usually free roams the house doing what your iggy. =)

Hola, te cuento que lo conseguí de muy chiquito y ya tiene 10 años, es una especie autóctona de Argentina así que en el verano si te das una vuelta por acá los conseguís bien baratos. Comen huevo, frutas, caracoles, insectos y carne, pero los tenés que hacer tomar mucho sol para una buena salud, y deben estar en un terrario grande o sacarlos a andar por la casa o el parque seguido. En el invierno hibernan, así que por 5 meses no los ves. Cualquier cosa me avisas. Saludos! =)

Yes at all, they make good pets and you can pet them better since they are bigger (compared to geckos). They can be very tame too, like Juancho, you only need some patience. Argentines in the States they are about U$S130, you can get Columbians cheaper but they can be more agressive. =)

Haha, if they are huge enough they can cut off your finger! But dont worry, most of them are very calm specially if you get them as babies. Mine is Argentine, but Colombians can be a bit harder to tame. Anyways, they are very friendly lizards and never get pissed, not like iguanas. =)
