lol, what you described was an ACOG, there is no such thing as an RDS that has a crosshair unless it was a very tiny crosshair.

i used a cheap ass 8 dollar red dot on my paintball gun and got so many forehead shots it's wasn't funny - paintballs are pretty dang accurate within their effective range - and with a good sight

take the rail clamp off the sight it self and flip them up side down. it will clamp onto the rail and sight.

with a red dot sight a paintball gun's accuracy is based on consistancy b/c you can set the to compensate for ball drop. so with a consistant gun (like mine:vid coming soon) you can be extremly accurate at decent ranges, the more consistant your gun is, the more range is effectively accurate. Let me tell you, red dot sight are pure rampancy at long range, and god like at short range.
