Good review but I prefer 'Selling England By the Pound'. I think that is probably their best and most interesting album to date. I really like the humour and social commentary on it.
the buildup in the beginning Watcher of the Skies is some of my favorite music ever, when the all the other instruments start coming in ahhhh manmanman
then they took the song in a diff. direction than it was going in my mind and that bothered me for a while but it grew a whole lot over time :P

I agree with you that this is a superb album... I got into it six or seven years after it was released. It seemed to be the perfect soundtrack to my early life. Sombre, dark, challenging but with brief interludes of joy.
My favourite Genesis album will always be 'Lamb lies Down On Broadway'.

Foxtrot is definetly the best Genesis album with Peter Gabriel.
