I just got this phone, so far i am not pleased. Having a hard time figuring out how to lock the key pad. I find the tools features like the calculator, calendar are not together like they should be. I am giving this one to my daughter and buying another better boost mobile phone. The features are un organized and in too many folders.
Boost is the best!!! One month I couldn't pay my bill so I thought I would have to end my service. They gave me a month for free! If you have on time payments they reduce your bill every 6 months by 5 dollars. They keep reducing all the way down to 35 dollars a month. I have never had a problem with coverage or dropped calls either. I totally recommend boost Mobile. Their phones work well too.I have this basic phone and its awesome.
@pdyoyo you press menu, then scroll to settings, from there go to security, then to keypad lock, from there you can choose from lock now or auto lock and choose how soon you want the keypad to lock. hope this helps. i do suspect that by now you have already found out how to do this but maybe this can help someone else as well.

I've had this phone for about a year and a half. Although not the greatest phone out there it worked well for the most part. @jmariejackson I strongly disagree! I have had this phone for 2 years I also have had a blackberry phone for 2 years from sprint. my clutch has been abused as much as the blackberry. The CLUTCH is more rugged and battery last longer has had no problems at all, plus I can tether it to my laptop to get internet all thought it is slow when using it for internet. I love this phone and like everything about Boost Service save 1. I have had problems paying 6 months in advance like I want to do.
MetroPCS is terrible theyre service sucks ass i went to cunneticut (i live in new york) and there was no signal at all.plus they actually send you pictures of private parts! they sent my sis a pic of a dick and my mom of two naked women.

wow, web browsing really looks sucky on that phone. Very poor resolution. The Boost Blackberry 8330 costs twice as much, but for only $10.00 extra a month, you get great web brwosing with youtube, etc, and on a 3g network. This phone sucks.
@TargetRender I bought the Boost Blackberry 8330, it rocks, this i465 Clutch suck like all the iDEN network phones. The CDMA phones are much faster & better.

@NAWFSIDESOLDIER I agree, but it's not even a contract or prepaid issue. For example, Boost just flat out sucks in some places, and in other places it has the best reception in the world. Criket and Metro ACTUALLY cover some places that Boost won't. It's just a matter of RESEARCHING before you just snag ANY old phone off the shelf. Each company has pamphlets in all the stores that has a map that tells you where they cover. You can't just BUY a phone without looking into it first. lol.

This phone is crap. Biggest waste of money and time ever! I regret having this phone soo much. I will NEVER go to boost ever again. Metro PCS is a lot better. I never had a problem with service from them.

@thecoolguymatt I have this phone and I CAN'T STAND IT!!!! 1. Every time i get a message it doesnt notify me, it goes to the inbox. After that it actually downloads for like 20 minutes for just a message that says hey. 2. IT SUCKS!!!!!

I have this phone and find that it gives me everything that I want out of a phone - compact and just right. I have it on the straight talkdeal of $45 for a 30day service and unlimted text, talk and web time - what a bargain and I have saved a lot of bucks!

coming frm a guy with this phone i wounld not sugest this phone it sucks! it is supper laggy and the battery shorts out all the time. when the bttery shorts out you have to take the battery out and change batterys. and then sometimes it doesnt turn on. like now the battery shorts out and ist turning back on. i am switching to the virgin moble loft and i suggest you do the same. boost plz steep up ur phones

wow, web browsing really looks sucky on that phone. Very poor resolution. The Boost Blackberry 8330 costs twice as much, but for only $10.00 extra a month, you get great web brwosing with youtube, etc, and on a 3g network. This phone sucks.

@TargetRender I bought the Boost Blackberry 8330, it rocks, this i465 Clutch suck like all the iDEN network phones. The CDMA phones are much faster & better.

I had this phone, and i'm switching to virgin mobile.
because this phone key board is realy suckish.
I'm a girl with a pretty small hand i guess and it's hard for me to type on it at times, i have to use my nails wich isnt a problem but it gets tiresum.
the phone does frezze alot and you have to tkae out the battery to get it started again. and internet is very slow. and doesnt work with alot of sites.
I dont get my text messages on time. like i get text from monday on friday some times.

ALot of people complain about crappy service and late text alerts, but that is simply a coverage problem. I bet these people never took the time to look at a coverage map before buying the phone.

@NAWFSIDESOLDIER I agree, but it's not even a contract or prepaid issue. For example, Boost just flat out sucks in some places, and in other places it has the best reception in the world. Criket and Metro ACTUALLY cover some places that Boost won't. It's just a matter of RESEARCHING before you just snag ANY old phone off the shelf. Each company has pamphlets in all the stores that has a map that tells you where they cover. You can't just BUY a phone without looking into it first. lol.
