  • A knock-out from the Fifties! Thank you, Eddie! Play on with the angels!

  • Yeah, long before Brian Setzer. Raw-edged and potent! A great amalgam of straight-out Blues and Rockabilly. KING TONE all the way! A short but magnificent life -- Eddie -- YOU ARE STILL GREAT!!!! YOU STILL SHINE LIKE A SUPERNOVA!

  • His best song of all.

  • Love Love Love this tune! Cool pic of Eddie too.

  • great track

  • I asked a friend once who he thought did this one. He said, "Eric Clapton" LOL It really sounds ahead of Ed's time. And like all others I say, so F*****G young! RIP

  • I've always loved this! *****

  • 'Fantastic authentic blues which is such a contrast to his rockabilly numbers.

  • Easily my favorite song of his.

  • This one of the coldest blues tunes EVER! Eddie rocks! And for your information the BEATLES ruined Rock and Roll they burned to the ground! Any real rock n roll tune they did they borrowed from someone else. They turned rock n roll to bubble gum music!

  • @MrBluesmeister Totally agree with you!!!

  • goofballs man...goofballs!

  • Don't forget he also he pioneered some of the recording techniques and methods used by thousands later, on some records doing everything himself including production and engineering. Not bad at all God bless you Eddie

  • A genius. He died when he was 21.

  • what a man this is a great instromental to think he was younger than i am and to record such a great track im 26 and i brought i eddie cochran cd years a go and i have to play this over and over again because i can not belive what a genius he is and the great point about it is his sound from his grestch 6120 so raw

  • Certainly Eddie wasn't the first to play the blues electrically - but he did so with his own sparkle, his unique energy, and funky tone. One has to understand that blues was unhip in popular rock contexts - he was taking a risk in cutting this disk. But it serves now as a testament to his vision for rock - and for a very, very young man - and for being much better known for his vocals and songwriting, his guitar work goes down in history as some of the most inspired, energetic, and thoughtful.

  • UNbelievable, especially since he died when he was 21. If he'd lived he would've been one of the best guitarists ever and probably producing and playing hit after hit to this day. Hard to believe he never got to hear one note of the Beatles music.

  • 'Hard to believe he never got to hear one note of the Beatles music' ? The Beatles took ALL their music from everybody else! McC sucks.

  • @owzatagen The Beatles were the best band EVER!!! Let's see you write a song as good as McCartney's worst. Betcha can't!

  • Amazing for that time.

  • not only for THAT time, for ALL time ;)

  • @lewars1912 What do you mean "For that time"??? everything was amazing in that time.

  • @EruditeCoterie I love Jimi Hendrix's guitar playing but thanks for your amazing comment, lol.

  • the king, king eddie

  • Fantastic, Eddie is the guitar king forever xx

  • a'hhhhh eddie doing what he does best

  • Great guitar work. Eddie Cochran was a fantastic guitar player. In my opinion, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, he and Scotty Moore were the best Rock and Roll guitar players in the 1950s. This instrumental "Eddie's Blues" is a true masterpiece for his time.
