The reason why the viewing of CP is illegal is that, unlike murder, which can have it's own reason for vilification, CP is made exclusively to be viewed. Henceforth, if no-one viewed it, it wouldn't exist.

On a biased side note, CP is fucked up wrong. Simulated CP (Loli), is still fucked up, but I don't understand why it is illegal.

To everyone who discusses religion right now, in my opinion religion is in itself harmless. It is when people takes it too far/too seriously (i.e they become fanatics) that it becomes dangerous. Take for example all the religious cults, all religous terrorists or all the atrocities that has been done "in the name of god." I don't hate religion and to me everyone is allowed to believe whatever they want.

But when religion drowns out common sense and you blindly follow it, it has gone too far..

I don't think the issue with the mosque had anything to do with religion, it was more about the fact that the origin of the deaths of thousands was the Muslim religion, and putting a building that condones this religion is more about patriotism and respect rather than religion.

We should either figure out a way to remove demand completely or make child porn legal. The current laws practically support child abuse.

Whoah whoah woah. It was not "Christians" against building a mosque Christians are a very large group of people, and most of them were in favor of it. It is not fair that because a few people of a particular group are wrong to you, that the entire group is wrong. Non-Christians didn't like it either. It was not a purely religious thing either. People mistook a mosque as a symbol of al queda, which would be like "giving them a victory." You aren't being very empathetic.
