Deicide is cool but to me a lot of their songs sound the same. Their first 2 offerings..."Deicide", and "Legion" were by far their best, in my opinion. All of their music since has been unimpressive and repetitive. That's not to say that I dislike Deicide, I just think that the rest of the stuff all sounds the same. If you disagree, tell me your faves not on the first 2 albums, so I can check them out a bit more. I listen to a lot of stuff and Deicide got lost in the shuffle.

@MPetrozzaIsGod yeah by far there first two albums are there best albums. but theres still some good songs on there other albums like on the insineratehymn album, and on serpents of the light, and i like a couple songs on scars of the crucifix.. But yeah i think i might like the insineratehymn album just a little bit more than the legion album. Probably only because insineratehymn is the album that got me into deicide.

@enterabel i have heard a lot of "newer" Deicide but none of it grabbed me like the first 2 albums did. When Deicide and Legion were released they were both well known here in the Central Florida area as most death metal type stuff had some origins here. It's a bit harder for me to hear cool stuff simply because I feel so fu**in' old. Haha. Anyways...right on, brother...I'm gonna take some time to give the rest of their stuff a listen
