Bom lived in the U.S. for several years and even attended Berklee College (a very prestigious music college in the states) before she auditioned for YG Her influences from American music are Mariah Carey and Beyonce. CL lived in America, France, and Japan due to how her father is a physics professor and travels a lot. Minzy grew up listening to a lot of R&B and Michael Jackson so she's familiar with American music. Dara knows a little English since she lived in the Philippines :D

@junay296 Minzy did not grow up in America. She was born and raised in Korea. Bom went to middle school, high school and college in America so she knows English. CL lived in Korea for a time so she knows English. Dara learned English in the Philippines. Minzy is the only one who doesn't know English fluently; she knows only a little to understand a basic conversation.
