Why??? The next thing they could be would be Rock but they're definitely not Rock. The Voicing of the Guitarsound, the riffs, the singing, the drum, and the Bass. They play Metal, well it's not exactly the same music style they made a few years ago, but it's still awesome. Look, what they play is not always the same, and that's one of the things that makes them this way good. Their lyrics and their playing is very good too.

This is one of the few good songs on the album. The album as a whole is lazy, watered down, and sub par as far as Trivium go. He can say he's focusing on songs, but individuals like Akerfeldt and Petrucci (both huge influences on Matt) prove that song-based songwriting doesn't have to be simple and repetitive. Matt has the right to do what he wants creatively, but this album was not 3 years worth of work.

I don't know why all the hate, this is definately their best album, they don't work on the technicality of the solos, but in the meaning of the whole songi itself, and Matt has improved 200% on his vocals, plus their live performances are amazing now

Keep in mind the release of an album does not destroy or take away anything they did in the past with their older albums. I personally like where they're going,

Trivium have done such an amazing job on this album. It would honestly be very hard for me to decide my favorite song on it. If you really listen to this album from start to end, you can really tell that they have put huge amounts of effort into each and every song. They are all so great at playing there instruments and Nick is one fucking god of a drummer!
