Chatterbox XBi syncing two units for rider/passenger intercom use

can you pair the xbi and the xbi2 together? I have watched every video and tried and tried to pair mine together for rider to passenger intercom and I can't seem to get them to work. I have paired both of them to my phone with no problem just can't get them to pair together for intercom. this sucks. Im really frusterated. the chatterbox website is lacking and vague. can anyone out there explain what the ^$%$%$ im doing wrong?

@12000allister I'm sorry but the Xbi and Xbi2 models cannot be paired to each other. The XBi is a rider to passenger model only and is to be only paired to another XBi model. The XBi2 can be used for rider to passenger and/or bike to bike but must be paired ONLY with another XBi2 model or the XBi2-H model.

@12000allister 12000allister wow what a waste of money! The first chatterbox I purchased quit working so i bought another xbi cause i was pleased with the phone option on my first unit until it burned up. So i bought a second xbi unit and saved up and bought the third one so i could have the rider to pass. intercom option. what a letdown to find out I wasted my money noone at the store i purchased it from said the were incompatible, neither did it

Respond to this video...say that on the box or in the directions that came with the xib2. Ya know I was always boasting about how great the chatterbox was to all my riding friends what a let down chatterbox. Don't suppose you would trade one of these so i could have a working set? Im dissapointed to say the least. thanks for answering my comment though so I can finally quit banging my head against the wall trying to get these to pair I do app. that if nothing else
