´No.they kept laughing cause Benicio kept farting,like 12 takes in a row for one..it went on for too long,the scene took all day and the director went nuts on the actors,yelled at them for being unproffessional.Then the editor turned the failed scene,these bloopers that was supposed to be serious into a scene in the movie.U can see the editing glitch on Byrnes face.But they didnt laugh for sveral hours cuz Baldwin was that funny..cuz he wasn´t.He was alright but Benicio killed it.

Although his character didn't really think the situation was funny, this many career criminals in the same room in front of cops trying to act serious, it's like as Kevin Pollak had said about filming the scene, telling little kids not to laugh during church.

This movie would´ve been so much better with Joe Pantoliano instead of Pollak as Hockney.He can come across as both funny,sarcastic and as a believable criminal.The dialogue would suit him perfect,while as Pollack might be somewhat funny here n there but never comes across as dangerous. And despite the performance being okay BY STEPHEN BALDWIN STANDARDS,I feel as in 1995,Michael Madsen would truly have been the perfect McManus....still,one of the 10 best films ever made.
