Sometimes the guest agrees to come on if certain topics or approaches are avoided. That was the most extreme example of unprofessionalism I have ever seen on the part of a guest. He should have never agreed to come on the show.........he could have not shown up and Larry could have substituted another guest. Pathetic.

The press has been clamouring for information over this issue. They have not only harrassed the family but the doctor to. By going on to the Larry King show, he publically said he wasn't going to answer anyone's questions. This way he could stop the media attention in one fell swoop. Get it now? Probably not.

You stated that the press wasn't clamouring for news, which is equally false, and then you claim that he didn't need to make a public statement declaring that he would respect the families wishes. Again that's false too. Let's be clear public statements are a fact of life and people in the public eye make them all the time.

@Ryooken Since you are as young as you are, you don't remember that when this kind of controversy came up in the past, the person in question would do one interview and state what would or would not be said. As this isn't common in recent times, it's not recognized especially by you. It's called integrity. Respecting the families right to privacy is called integrity, making public statements say so again integrity. Not recognizing it as such makes me question yours period.

Oh and by the way, check his website - this is a man with integrity? Again, why not leave a statement and not have your face appear on camera 'doing the right thing.' So he didn't have to go after 15 minutes of fame. What did he say? He said that he want to clarify some things that were stated incorrectly about him. That's why he came on the show but he wanted to respect the family's wishes by not discussing their case.

When you hit the element of perfection then you can judge. What I said stands firm it's a rare thing in this life to see someone show integrity, even in the face of wrongdoing by not trying to pass the buck, shirk responsibility, and deal with their issues. @cocobear33 You'd have to look at who called who and what agreements were made. A lot of times the middlemen promise on experience and the actual experience is something different altogether. Sometimes the guest agrees to come on if certain topics or approaches are avoided. Some agree to come on if they are promised they can speak about something, and the interviewer turns it into a circus, pressure-cooker, or simply doesn't give the guest the chance to speak what they were promised.
