The Fed rebates all of its net income back to the Treasury.
The People's Bank of China does not.
So your taxes are going to enrich "private bankers" in China since China holds the bulk of the US naitonal debt, far exceeding the small amount the Fed holds for monetary policy purposes, which it then rebates to the Treasury.
