She is based on (apart from Louise Rennison herself) the average teenage girl just a bit more extreme...shes put across this way so that she isnt giving all these young girls false hopes and to show that there is nothing wrong with being unique and you dont have to pretend to be something your not...read the books people...theres actually a message in amongst the insanity =)
