  • Thumbs up for Dr. Who reference!

  • mmm googling two of your favorite things brings good results.

  • @SakutheKQ haha!!

  • LOVE THIS!!!@_@

  • I really wish people would stop making "Thumb up if x" comments. It's getting kind of old.

Actually, it's been old for a while now.

  • The live version is so much better... I think they really fucked things up in the studio.

  • @ffsf739 I think they made it better, but the live version was good.

  • @ffsf739

Radiohead doesn't **** anything up. The sooner you learn that the better.

  • @2plus2equ5 The only song by Radiohead I don't like is, Creep. And Thom and Johnny tried to fuck that song up too!

  • the best band on the planet.... and out of the orbit .

  • Happy 4th birthday :-)

  • Up on the ladder, watching humans waste away, changing time in hyperspace, results always the same

  • It will be the the main soundtrack in my first film... :)

  • B-side. That's all I have to say.

  • The bends, OK computer, Kid A, Hail to the thief, In rainbows and the king of limbs, all fucking brilliant. As for the eraser it was a good one but it was not radiohead same way that the tkol remixes are good but still not radiohead. Just something different. To hte point: Every radiohead album except for pablo honey is amazing to my ears!

  • @ploytos You skipped 'Amnesiac' in your list. Is there a specific reason or is it just a mistake ?

  • @ploytos Amnesiac?

  • @ngpdreamteam2k4 Actually, I don't feel that way about the songs. They don't seem so similar at all. Bloom has nothing to do with Codex or Give Up The Ghost, Feral has nothing to do with Little By Little. For me, it isn't the greatest album from Radiohead (massive Kid A fan here), but it isn't that bad... But it takes a lot of attention and pacience to get it.

  • i knew they had something to do with DOCTOR WHO. .

  • @limon919 I don't get it.

  • @CreeprThaReaper its a british show called doctor who . .and doctor who has a TARDIS , wich is a space ship/time machine . (he's an alien) . . . and Radiohead has always given me that funny and kind of crazy feeling about outer space and aliens and all that. alot of their songs they talk about being different and not from here and saying they have gone in space ships and stuff like that . ..kind of paranoid now jaja . . but thats what u get when u listen to alooot of RADIOHEAD . .

  • radiohead is this generation's led zeppelin.

  • hmmm more Floyd than Zeppelin...but then thats my opinion ;)

  • The first lines justify the undeniable quality of this song.

"Stuck in a Tardis ; Trapped in Hyperspace"

    Yep, fine to me.

  • In rainbows disc 2 > King of Limbs

  • @MEYERS3000 u r right

  • @sarbool you're the one who's right ;)

  • @MEYERS3000 sad but true, king of limb just feels like it never gets started.

  • @MEYERS3000 KIng of limbs > Pablo/the bends. The king of limbs was not their best, but still a very good album. They took on a whole new sound! Even though i like in rainbows more, i like that they dont try to remake their own stuff. That is a big reason why they're one of the best in history.

BTW How do you not like songs like Little By Little?!?!?!

  • @soadrhcpmuse I posted that comment a month ago, before I had a chance to really listen to TKOL. Now its probably my top 4th favorite Radiohead album (Behind Kid A, Ok Computer, and Amnesiac) It really does take a couple of listens to appreciate, though. I think the "From the Basement" session really helped me to see the greatness of the songs on the album.

And Little by Little is and always has been my favorite song on the record since I first bought it.

  • @soadrhcpmuse not better than the bends. how can an album with street spirit, just, and fake plastic trees not be as good as tkol? the bends = their 2nd best album. tkol still incredible though.

  • @soadrhcpmuse king of limbs sucks...BADDDDDDDDDDDDLLYYY. easily their worst CD. only 2 good songs(little by little, lotus flower). the rest of the CD is background noise that all sound same and are repetitive and boring. separators a decent song though.

  • @ngpdreamteam2k4 So i guess you dont like Amnesiac, Kid a, or HTTT.

  • @soadrhcpmuse No Kid A is a great CD along with HTTT, but amnesiac was kinda boring even though it had like 5 maybe 6 good songs, so overall its decent. the king of limbs sucks though. the songs go nowhere, have no real highpoint, and their all insanely repetitive except lotus flower. the CD just sounds like nice background noise if your trying to focus on you work. its a big step down from the best CD ever(IN RAINBOWS)

  • @soadrhcpmuse Thom Yorkes solo CD was alot better than TKOL.

  • @ngpdreamteam2k4 I really think you should reconsider codex

  • dr who is a very old show and carries a fair amount of cultural signifigance for certain generations of people. the tardis has somehow entered the national psyche...

  • Radiohead are Doctor Who fans? Or does TARDIS mean something else in this song?

  • Haha I love this song, I guess Arthur Darvill likes it too!

  • RORY YOU BEEEEAUTY!

  • Arthur Darvill, you are magnificent.

  • Thank you Arthur Darvill.

  • Thumbs up if Arthur Darvill sent you here.

  • I just found out about disc 2 of 'In Rainbows' and I've been listening to them for like 8 years! Thank the Lord.

  • I could listen to this 24/24. That riff.. freak me out.

  • absolutely outstanding track from a band with a fair few outstanding tracks. def 1 of their very finest tho. how much are we loving KOL? it's a LOT

  • Collin made love to this song with the bass.

  • The old version is decent, but this one has so much more in it to me.

  • Love this song!

  • up on the ladder you are alla the fucking same!

  • Dr. Who reference throws me off.

  • wtf why didn't I know about these songs earlyer! they are epic!!

  • @Cedante90 THANK YOU In Rainbows is my favorite RH album and it took till today to know there were 8 more songs to it, i didnt find out until i was listening to Jaydiohead and was like "what the fuck is Up On The Ladder from?" and now here i am lol

  • love

  • man they had been working on this song for longer than nude

  • Is it true they are coming out with new album? if so, when?

  • i can't wait for the next album. these guys will never lose their ability to put out good music. many artists tend to burn out after so many albums. not Radiohead.

  • @harshman121092 Heard that truth!

  • @harshman121092 do you know when the new album is supposed to be released??

  • @TheGabcat As far as I know, they haven't committed to a date or even a month for the release of the new album. And I haven't heard any rumors or anything of a release date. I'm hoping it will be very very soon though!

  • @harshman121092 So do I! Its seems as though their music just keeps getting better and better....

  • Comment removed

  • @VerilyMusic yeah for real. each member of the band is pretty much irreplaceable.

  • 2 people go down on the ladder

  • If he's up on the ladder, but the other song says that "down is the new up", does that mean he's down the ladder?

  • @003ralf003caster oo snakes and ladders

  • @003ralf003caster you can still be down while going up

  • @003ralf003caster it means he's upside down on the ladder

  • @alavro15 with his feet on the air and his head on the ground?

    (hehe pixies reference)

  • I should pay more attention to radiohead. I shouldve known about this disc a long time ago. I really enjoy these b-sides

  • I love this song. such a good wintery autumn day to hear this to.

  • attention guitar nerds: what effect do you think jonny (assuming it's him playing) uses to get the overdrive sound at the beginning? boss sd-1 eh?

  • such an underrated song

    so heavily influenced by thom

  • 'I'm stuck in the TARDIS' wow that just made my day :).

  • @qpwo6 yeah ... i was like "NOOO WAYYY!!! " :P i`m a big fan of the TARDIS xD

  • insane... Radiohead Forever

  • I liked the old version of this song. Had more energy, more guitar driven.

  • @marleyhund777 there was an older one? so tight. I wanna hear it!

  • Ada

  • unbelievable that they didnt put this song on the album... but wow In Rainbows i think is the best album of the 2000's

  • @jmill2828er agreed

  • Beautiful, too bad youtube butchered the sound quality.

  • I like to do this song everyday like weeds

  • Absolute ambient, sexual, heavenly, heavennnnly bliss

  • no shit?? ;0

  • SEX. I love radiohead ...

  • Une superbe chanson pour un groupe extraordinaire!!

    Radiohead, The Best!!!!

  • Such a poet

  • Just another amazing song by Radiohead. These guys are at the top of their game right now, and that's saying a lot given their incredible catalog.

  • @semineil In Rainbows Era in my opinion is better than the others

  • @semineil AGREED, roll on the limbs... ROLL IT ON BABY YEAH!!!!!

    Hehehe.

  • i've been addicted to this track. it's got a great vibe.

  • This song is amazing

  • Oh my God...(L)

  • My favorite In Rainbows disc 2 song!

  • Watch me dance -- I'm a puppet! You can almost see the strings...

  • 'You're all the fucking same.'

  • ok seriously

they could have withheld these songs from us, and sold Disc 2 with different artwork as their next album. yet they keep so many of their most beautiful songs in relative obscurity. I love Radiohead..

  • Well, they would've had to drop the MKs which are basically clipped from the original longer intros to "Weird Fishes/Arpeggi" and "Videotape" and toss on a few more songs like hopefully "Burn the Witch" and "Follow Me Around" to make it more than just an EP, but other than that I totally agree.

  • With Bonus Material this good, the brilliance of this band is impossible to doubt.

  • radiohead meets disco!

  • Best chorus in the history of songs!!!!

  • Does anyone know if the 2nd CD is considered along with the first CD for album of the year?? I think In Rainbows should win regardless, but I'm just curious.

  • Mhaha, Tardis, like Dr.Who, like it [L]

  • THANK YOU now I get that line

    Love this ****ing song.

  • Radiohead is the best band on earth!!!!!!

  • i love this song

  • i like a live version of this so much better, its much more heavier and emotional. but i guess the album really was going for a minimalist effect

  • Dear Fans:

Where can I find disc 2. I want this on cd, I have looked for days and I can't find it.

    Help.

    Thanks

  • Download it from the Video's Description. If you want the Special Edition CD (Booklet, Sticks, Lyrics, etc), it will be very difficult to find it.

  • I have been looking for this as well and I cannot find it. Do you have a direct link you can provide us? Please help as these disk 2 songs are great!

  • ONCE AGAIN, check out the video's description pal. There is a link where you can downloas it.

  • I was able to find it. My bad. Thanks for the DL. Great music!

  • Would be nice if you could make the zip 'mac-friendly' ;-)

  • And how do you make a 'Mac Friendly' file?

  • @Zedetnik I've noticed in a lot of these videos you keep telling people to look in the description haha. That must piss you off.

  • No, it doesn't piss me off pal. But... well, let's face it. The same question will always get the same answer, hehehe...

    Thanks for your comment.

  • @Zedetnik Haha true. No probs dude. Thanks for replying :)

  • @typohead i agree

  • I lost my ticket for radiohead march 15 here in mexico. Aparently the only way of getting it back is by reporting it stolen. And fill out a rob form in the "procaduría general" =/...

  • @keats42

You can buy disc 2 in digital format from the Radiohead website, I believe it's 6 pounds.

  • @JorAtGuitar thats heavy... lol

  • i am feeling this.

but it is so easy to turn it off

    and forget/forget/forget.

    numbness dressed in the covers

laid out upon the stripey bed.

call me out of the hot bath

    when the zombies are fed.

    call me away from

    another heart attack

when the robots are all dead.

  • LOVE IT.

  • This is awesome!

If you don't like Radiohead, you don't like music!

  • If you don't like Radiohead, you are death.

  • I love this song..

it sounds to me like the lyrics are "All the right moves in

In the right places" instead of "in the right percent." just a thought..

  • i totally agree with you ignish, i think pablo honey was their album to get known so they could pull of ok computer.

  • this is possibly my favourite from in rainbows disk 2, although i also really like last flowers and go slowly.

  • I love the bass annd what seems like bongos in this song

  • I would say GO slowley is pretty gd too! Johnny Greenwood wanted Go slowley to be on the LP....

  • Can anybody pls pls tell me where i find the b-side of In Rainbows?

I get crazy couse i dont find it but REALLY want to own it. Would hear it 24/7

    Thanks very much

  • you can oreder the disc box of radiohead's site

  • Dear Beloved Youtubers,

Firstly, thankyou very much Zedetnik for putting all these songs up; it was very generous of you.

In my humble opinion, I think this is the best song on the entirety of 'In Rainbows'. Whose with me?

  • Thank you, for your comment. I hope you like it.

  • yes this is great but in "all the rainbows"(disc songes etc.) i love them all very beautiful (but i like bangers & mash too) :)

    Peace

  • i think the song creep is great. but i just don't like how it's like the only song people know by radiohead

  • I must have downloaded 50 fake "up on the ladder"s back when Amnesiac was coming out. Man, that was when Napster was free...

Don't worry, I bought the CD -- AND all of the FANTASTIC b-sides, mind you.

  • arggghhhhh. this song this song, arghhh puppet mA ster.. uieo iu yes

  • This song should of made the regular album. Its strong.

  • To me, creeps is one of their worst songs ..

  • First off, it isn't "creeps."

And the only reason it has that reputation is because it is so overplayed, it is, after all - the song that launched them.

  • LOL creeps.

  • What a 180 from their song, creep, this album is.

    I love it!

  • you know i'm glad radiohead feels so disconnected to the song creep.....it is a good song and all but it is not a radiohead song....to me i feel like it is a one hit wonder for another band.......they restrain from playing creep at there concerts now

  • yeah i agree.

it is almost a one hit wonder song..but they aren't one hit wonders...lol

i like this sound better anyway..so its all good.

  • I toatally Agree

  • The way i see it, is Pablo Honey is what they came up with before really finding their sound and style. Not to say that i dont listen to Pablo Honey, but that album opened many paths for them to grow

  • What's amazing is that Pablo Honey still sounds far more 'fresh' and new then most of the bands today.

  • I think that's why they never play it live. [to 93steven.]
