rolleblading came from skiers who couldnt ski in the summer. they needed something to do and a way to pracitce in the summer when they werent skiing. i dont know how old you are. But if you look it up (im 30) skates didnt come with small wheels they came with the huge wheels which made turning eaiser and and fast speeds. Thats how k2 and salmon got into it. v cut them haha. thats what the v-cut helps you do. it makes you able to use your ankles as well as your knees to jump, instead of just your knees.

well since you have the 0802s its pretty easy. look on the back of the plastic cuff, youll see an outline of the "v" shape youll cut. then get a small saw, or box-cutter and cut along this dotted line. this change is permanent and the only way to undo it is to buy new cuffs. but i like it, and it only too me like 20 minutes to get used to the change. read more about the pros and cons of v cutting first though
